True Story: My favorite fantasy monster is the Gelatinous Cube.
I miss the sci fi aspect. I started with Exodus, which other then the fact that they wink-wink-nudged-nudged the whole "Exodus is a computer and the cards are punch cards" thing, the game was 100% medieval.
Yes Exodus the computer, they actually changed that in later games. A lot of the time NPCs would refer to Exodus as though it was a demon or something. I had no clue why they did that, perhaps they felt it was silly. I liked it though.
What the hell did I just watch?

lol, the cube looked like a crevice that went along the walls--I had to look around at 1:05 to finally see it

Yeah, if you're not looking for it, it will kill you pretty quickly since it's so hard to make it out at cursory glance.

Well, for the medieval people an computer could be a daemon. Even for my parents the computers sometimes look as monsters ;o)
