Not much of a bass solo, but he always wrote great bass lines for the songs. That's really more important, anyone can play a bunch of screamin' fast notes and it seems like that's what everyone is doing these days. don't get me wrong, I love a good bass solo and I do them too, but I would rather be known for great bass lines than great bass solos.
