A regular old Game Boy link cable cut in half. The cut end with its bare wires are connected to the Arduino, while the plug end is plugged into the Game Boy Original/Pocket/Color/Advanced/Advanced SP/DS.
could one purchase one of these arduino units? I cant build anything lol. I would love to sync lsdj/mgb/nanoloop to ableton or hell anything that can process midi.
what cable is connected from the GBA to arduinoboy? I tried to look from the arduinoboy homepage, but couldn't quite find it.

well yeah that I do know. I was curious of the sound engine. I'm not really big into the chiptune style, but it always interested me.

is this off of a gameboy advance? I didn't know they produced beautiful sounds like this, just like the older gameboys.
