  • 1 peron gets hunted by the boogieman

  • Man the organ chord progression over the slaving beat and static vocals....gives me goosebumps every time. Cornerstone of real hip-hop. Mood music...

  • man i love dis shit

  • This was my best friend once, this whole tape. Was in VA, in the park by myself, sittin on a log nodding to the walkman, couldn't wait to join the military to get away from my unhappy home. When I hear this I think of my life in transition. Music meant a lot to me then, when nobody knew.

  • @psychsike01 i feel ya fam...

  • This song/video used to be on all the damn time on BET back in the day.

As a freshman in my college dorm room, I'd lay down to take a nap, this song would be on & when I'd wake up, it seems like it'd be on as well & I used to be SO ANNOYED with this song LOL!!

  • I love this shit hip hop now an't bout shit foreal.fuck yall fake mcs.

  • @sauce444 You weren't the only bumpin' this in Stockton, Cali back in the day. I wore this tape out! BTW, this cut came out in '94, but nevertheless it was a great time for Hip Hop!

  • been looking for this for a minute...couldn't remember who it was...it feels good to hear it again...ain't that how hip hop's supposed be???

  • They don't make muzic like thiz anymore

  • Comment removed

  • Or maybe it's because the morons in the club, of all races don't want to hear a message, they just want to dance. Record execs just want to make money, they don't care how anyone is being portrayed.

  • Man, I wish I could start my own record label. That's all it would take 2 shut all this shit down. Scout out some new acts THAT sound NOTHING like the rappers today. Basically embede into their heads to not dress like Lil Wayne or young jeezy. Have their own identity. Have their own way or dressing and write about ALL subjects from racial profiling, hustling, infidelity, catching STD's.... & murder the track up at the same time when they do it. It's time for change. I'm sick of the shit on radio

  • i completely agree.. no doubt

  • @phesterjr ....I cant agree with you more ..put your best foot forward and do the damn thang !! Start your label ..There many grants are available to you ..you can find anything you want online ..A closed mouth dont get fed...Young brother I believe that you can change the game and take Hip-Hop back to its original beginnigs ..Peace and blessings Sis Khadijah

  • @phesterjr DON'T just WISH it MAKE it happen. There's an old saying: if You See something wrong that NOBODY else sees it's YOUR job to fix it. Evil can only triumph when Good people sit by and do nothing. Make your record label happen and You'll be SURPRISED at how many of Us will get behind you because we're sick of this bullshit too.

  • @JayWillyBrandname tHOSE ARE INSPIRATIONAL WORDS, MAN. i'LL TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION.

  • @phesterjr me 2 but i dont take the mark of the beast , you wudnt be able to do that the beast has it locked down hense the Lightcode Lockdown

  • dopeness!

They started droppin that REAL knowledge on God Sound...next thing you know, the group disappeared.

They made the right choice tho...they could have sold out like Mobb Deep and KRS...

  • They disappeared because they

    chose God, and quit rapping.

  • classic!!

  • They're all Pastors now...real talk..

  • you hear the organ in the background of the track...eerie if wat u say is true...they were pretty harmless so it aint DAT far fetched...

  • Vex is the only guy from the group who is making hiphop still. he has a myspace with his new songs.

  • shit be outta control yo

  • beeninin beeninin beenininyowyoww!!!! :P

  • all this new school shit is sad compared to 90s hiphop

  • Boogiemonsters are dope. They were slept on heavily when they dropped. Tough making your debut in 1994 which is probably my favorite year for hip hop. I miss cats like them, UMCs, Pharcyde, KMD and other carefree hip hop artists.

  • This and Organized Confusion's "Stress" came out at about the same time.

  • True but the songs are not even remotely similar.

  • How could I have forgotten about this one!

  • realllllllllllllllllllll thnggg hereeee

  • classic 94 shit!

  • Truly real Hip-Hop.. The best music never went pop. I dont know if thats bad or if its good; I would say good for US who know it. Unfortunate for those who never got to hear it

  • classic!

  • golden era 85-98

  • Sounds like Souls of Mischief - damn I miss the 90s...

  • Oh, you mean when people actually had to try to write lyrics?

  • wow....you took it there with this one

  • butter.

  • oh my gosh boogie monsters riders of the storm very slept on album big up to the uploader this is real hip hop
