@VovinaMilano i remember  foreign competitors were criticised to use other martial art techinques,especialy taekwondo,judo and karate in vovinam competitions. Maybe this is one of them lol

@VovinaMilano in reality .. you can use whatever you know to defeat your opponents ... if you know 1 martial art only .. then.. too bad that's your problem..and if you think vovinam is enough to fight ..then you know nothing about MMA ( mixed martial art ).. and if you ask me what i think about Vovinam.. i would say it's not practical in real fights.

I know MMA..I train Vovinam, and if you train VVN well you can be a good fighter..is not the martial art make you a good fight, you born a good fighter inside..the martial art canhelp you to find the right way.I belive inVVN but I respect all the fight stile, I like them!

@hivelocity100 not, I don't know exactly the rules of sanshou, but I think there are many differece..but this fight has the old rules, now they change..the WVVF change some rules for the fight!

one of the major problem with VVN in vietnam is training its not up to date. Now in technique, stance, and form, Vietnam should be top but in combat they are still weak. Plus Vietnamese people are malnurished lack of good food and supplements. Many factors play into this but reguardless they are all students of VVN so it doesnt matter who wins or lose.
