  • i have a quiestion why is it that you do 12 reps instead of 10 or 20 is their a legit reason or just like a lucky number or somthing

    you need to do somewhere between 12 - 20 reps, to get an efficient workout. Less reps does not do enough for your muscles, and if you have more reps, they get tired and you benefit less. Preferably you should do 3 sets og 12-20 reps :-).

  • you're very muscular, but don't have well-defined abs :-( Reminds me of how difficult it is to get abs. Is it because of genetics making it impossible, or do you just have to do more cardio?

  • @yoUNgNdObnOxious these aren't to burn calories, but are for strength- do cardio exercises (e.g. running, bicycling, swimming or other combination workouts that you can find on youtube) if you want to do that

  • Excuse me Darrell, Hi ok so I weigh about 210 pounds (Male), Im not exactly obese or unproportionate I am however fairly out of shape. I eat about 1 solid meal a day and its usually junk greasy food (I work in a kitchen). Im very happy about my current weight and only want to turn it into muscle now. I have no equipment yet and about 1 hour to spare everyday.

    My question is what area should I start with when it comes to Weightlifting exercises? -Jay

  • @DominionFTW Hahaha. Dude... you probably already know the answers to how to get into better shape. Stop eating greasy, nasty ass foods. Start eating more than once per day... and start moving your lazy ass. (Ps. 1 hour daily, isn't enough. What the hell are you doing with the other 23?)

  • @IanALane Well during the other 23 hours im working for about 8-10 labor in a kitchen sweating bigtime moving fast, so its not like im exactly doing nothing being lazy i only eat the greesy foods because i am around it in that enviroment it has nothing to do with being lazy :P

  • Working your abs means working your abs. I can't to legs, biceps, shoulders and assume my abs got worked. That is why so many people don't have great abs. They avoid working them directly.

  • Also, because the darker the skin the more easily the muscle can be see. That is why bodybuilders get dark tans and oil up. I think that is why they have been stereotyped that way.
