How fast is the boot time?

Also, do you know if the bios is unlocked?

The camera was a little shaky, but we could hear you clearly and that was what's important.. google images if you want to see the thing :)

How is windows 7 by the way? just curious

Windows 7 is great actually. Much lighter on resources than Vista, but not quite 'XP' level. The tradeoff is that you get a lot more features with 7 than XP. I used windows vista premium before 7, and have been using 7 ever since the beta the was released. It's very stable, much more organized, and the new task bar is a step forward. I don't know that it is as responsive to user input as ubuntu is though. Overall, I very good though. This laptop runs it flawlessly.

Sadly enough, it isn't even a digital video camera. Just a cheap digital camera that lets me record crappy 320 video :( And to my defense the DV8T is a business expense :) Perhaps I'll put a line into Santa that I need a tripod.

I didn't note this in my review. But I got my DV8T off ebay for $1150, minus $98 bing cash back for a total of about $1052. However, I did get a 1 year HP warranty with mine, which is $99 from HP. So overall, I bet you saved about $8 over what I paid for buying on CM. However, mine was at my doorstep in 7 days. One of those days was Thanksgiving, and two were weekend days. There are people who ordered from HP in mid Nov. and still don't have theirs :(

I don't have access to any of those demos. It seems they all require that you own the retail version of the game. If I'm mistaken let me know. Otherwise, if there are any free benchmarks you'd like me to run, please let me know and I'll get them taken care of.
