BTW it is not a trick, but if ur blades of chaos r lv.5 then you have infinite magic when rage is on.

Good stuff, this tactic sure helped me get past this. Though I think people are confused about healing/getting rage from your family, that you hold down the button, cuz at first i was hammering that thing like a madman, which gives you next to nothin'.

Square, square, triangle is the most basic combo and honestly, the best one!

As useful as it was in G1 and 2, probably will be in the third game!

Strange...When I hug the family, I only get a tiny portion of ROG, not even 1/4 of yours, maybe they increase the difficulty in PS3 version? I did have a hard with the clones in Spartan Mode. Thanks for sharing the video. The Rage of Poseidon IS the KEY.

i don't think they increase the difficulty but some games that are originally for ps1 when it plays on ps2 they are in some parts worse or different than the original, maybe the same thing happens when u play it in ps3

for that i did the vid for the first batlle -.- enter to my channel and u will see, there is a way to defeat Ares and enter to the war clones with all ur magic, cos without it is almost impossible, hope helped u good luck ;)

Battle after this is easy. When Aries charges you, stay blocked and after his first sword swing, lay into him - he'll retreat to do the four towers move - stay in the center and then roll away to the left, roll towrds Aries, hit him once, roll away and let him charge you. Repeat. Easy...

Again, this isn't a strategy, this was luck. 50% of the time, the clones won't be near you, like in this run. The other half, they'll be right there when you hug and maul you to death.

if you look closely you will notice that everytime `he hugs his family although he loses health the "rage of the gods" meter increases...ALOT!

yep, for that you need arrive to the second battle with all your life and with this all will be more easy

I get it so fast because when i go to press the circle button i hold the button for a long time without release it, and when the clons go to hit my family i leave the circle and i use the Poseidon's power and again i go to hugs them untill get my rage of the Gods again :p that's my strategy

I did that without powering up the rage of Gods and that was way difficult to beat than your strategy and came up with great thrill. This part in God mode is the worst part in all three parts of GOW. Anyway not even more players are there succeeding in beating this part. Good job done.
