So Pinocchio, only a few days old at this point and alone in the world, is put on stage by an abusive weirdo and shown his fellow puppets - staring, lifeless dolls - and expected to dance with them while an audience of strange adults laughs at him.

I remember this movie only as a boring blur of bad things happening, and have never rewatched the whole thing. Between this and Pleasure Island, I'm thinking an adult appreciation of Disney's finest psychological horror may be the key to enjoying it.

Con tutto il rispetto che ho sempre avuto per i film Disney, devo dire che questo Pinocchio mi ha lasciato con l'amaro in bocca per questi motivi:

1- Mangiafuoco era quello che regala a Pinocchio 5 secchini d'oro. Perchè qui e malvagio?

2- Perchè Pinocchio va al paese dei balocchi spronato da Gatto e la Volpe e non da Lucignolo?

3- La fata in realtà vive in una casa..qui perchè è una specie di spirito santo?

4-Perchè Pinocchio non si trasforma in asino completamente?
