That is nothing short of amazing! Just a question, you squat very verticle....is that because you are strongest that way, or do you find it saves more back for deadlifts maybe? btw, you have textbook form with your max lifts, great job sir!
eric, really looking forward to coming up to watch you and efferding battle it out, hes strong as hell, but it should push you to some amazing numbers, especially considering your age. good luck man.
Sick lifting Eric! I saw the video of your 550 bench press and you recent squat workout with Efferding where you did a 755 (which I'm sure will quickly go back up to 800). Where's your deadlift sitting at right now? If you can get your pull back up to 800+ then you're looking at totalling 2100+ soon. Keep up the hard work man. Keep inspiring the rest of us so that we can maybe one day try to push one of our lifts to where you are.
are you a lefty dude? stupid question, i know, i was just wondering because i'm a lefty and i'm the only one i know who deadlifts palm out, and i know your dad and brother have right hand palms out.
The very fact that you can bounce back from a horrendous injury as tearing your hamstring , is nothing short of amazing. I applaud you brother, for having the fucking balls of sticking with it no matter what. Best regards brother, i hope to see an 800 + pull in the near future, you owe it to yourself.
Amazing lifts as always. Your raw squat is ridiculous! 99% of humans on earth probably could never match that if they trained their whole lift for it and wore 2 (4-ply) squat suits! hahha
Thanks! I actually had the highest squat and deadlift of the meet against everyone who competed raw & in gear so i was pretty happy about that haha. Can't wait to compete again over the summer. I've learned so much from my injury and know when it's time to back off and when it's time to go heavy in training. I just need to work on my floor speed again for the pulls and i'm confident i can go past 800 at my next meet on the deadlift, my lockouts are the easiest part of my deadlifts now.
Thanks man! Those numbers are actually right around what i'm shooting for at the meet in July. I want to squat 825+ and bench somewhere between 515-525 with a pause and pull i want to try 805 for a new PR. I know i'll be ready at that meet to pull 800 again, my confidence went through the roof after i pulled that 760 at this meet.
Oh i know man, my bench was pretty much peaked about 2-3 weeks ago and i actually didn't train pauses at all before the meet, everything was just touch n go. Also i don't really know why, but my back kept cramping after squats so when it came time to bench, it made it hard to keep a solid arch and make everything more explosive. No big deal though, next time i'll shoot for more!
@EricLilliebridge hear ya, also plates seem to very from gym to gym,
and same thing happened to me the other day in the gym, after squatting i couldn't get a good arch for my bench, although for me I think it's cus I don't have good form on my squat, i can't squat more then 250 ish to parallel, but deadlifted 410 fairly easy the other day (165 lbs bw)
Man just get over that mental barrier with your hamstring and 2100 is already there and gone! Insane lifting. Not quite on par with that pervert, bj Sheffler, but close. lol.

Those are some amazing numbers!
I was just wondering what's your routine, do you have a squat, bench and deadlift day or do you have a upperbody/lowerbody split?
And last what's your opinion on speed training?

great lifting, been waiting for this video to come on all day, very inspirational.
must say tho, the 500 you pushed in the gym last week looked like a warm up compared to the 507 in the meet.
