  • Now that's a good thing. well done. Reaming is a gentle and slow part of flute making and takes a good while to do. each reaming process gives a smoother finish. It's always good to have a set of reamers made for different stages. I can recommend a triple fluted reamer for finshing as it helps to polish the taper and take the final scrape easier. a good tip is to have either an air line next to you ready to blast out every few scrapes or a dust extractor directly under the exit hole.
