True, but I don't think it's be easy to get a shot in on either of these fighter's heads.

A big threat presented by unconventional styles like Kalari or Capoeira is the weird factor. It's hard to fight someone who is aiming kicks at your head from the ground (capoeira) or to hit someone as flexible and agile as a kalari practitioner.

I speak from experience on the Capoeira- the only person to ever knock me out is a Capoeirista. I never even saw the kick.

I agree about weird angles being effective. Basically what you lack in offense you lack in defense.

Per my experience with drills it's actually the angles of attack not the techniques themselves

Even if he fights with a kyokushin fighter, probably the kalari fighter will win. Because what i got more interested and confidence in kalari in the " ozhivu" means " moving the body from opponents arms and weapons- or flexibility". there are two types of kalari- " thekkan" and vadakkan. When vadakkan gives importance to flexibility , " thekkan" gives importance to be fast and feirceful. But what ever it is , you should have concentration and confidence to be alive against the opponent.
