EARACHE RECORDS circa 1989-1990: Napalm Death, Godflesh, Entombed, Carcass. Also Paradise Lost (Peaceville Records). Ground-breaking times. I was fortunate to be living in Tampa during that era.
@xmetaljessex So what? Where in that pithy little comment does it say that ANY of those bands were from Tampa? And I repeat, I was fortunate to be in Tampa during that time. Do you know how many times I got to see bands like Morbid Angel, Decide, Death, Atheist, Assuck, Obituary, et al? My first hardcore band opened for Atheist in 1989 in a living room party. Or how about getting to know and hang out with Roger Patterson before his life was cut short? That was a really stupid reply dude.
I drive to work every morning listening to old school death. 6am with bolt thrower and the like is the best way to start a day. oh and a shit ton of coffee.
@LifeUnderTheSwatter haha yeah man, that's how i start my day too. old school death first thing in the morning with a ton of black coffee and after work more old school death with beers. and to wind down before bed i like nature based and/or pagan black metal, doom and drone.
@Case86 I do love my metal but sometimes I listen to acid jazz, electronica, traditional world or old school Pink Floyd or King Crimson....and some days I find total silence to be the best music.
i bought the re-issue of this album because i couldn't find the original and the case is retarded......on the back where it says the song length they are all wrong.....except the outro....but the actual music is the right length
the case says this song is 1:17 mins long but when i listen to it its the normal length
great upload

@TheInnerStation Tampa was nice at that time, but none of the bands you listed are even from the US.

@mysteryrocker123 I try to avoid any reissues like the plague. Always too loud and the artwork never looks as good as the original.
