The S&D must be one of the most beloved and missed railways in Britain. I wish the new venture all the very best in the plans. Who would have thought we would ever see trains on this line again? It will be fascinating to see how this develops over the next 10 years.

@cleckheatoncentral The plan is to extend the line two miles as far as Chillcompton where a double track Tunnel used to be, they have a steam loco under restoration and soon to be in service I believe!
