My cancer was only treatable outside of Ut. there are cancer centers in Baltimore, Omaha, Houston etc. where they do a cyroreductive surgery with HIPEC where they remove all signs of cancer and treat internally with a heated chemo solution. I had the surgery last Jan. it was very successful. I was cancer free but currently I am scheduled for additional surgery in Baltimore in Jan. because of a tumor in my scar tissue.
I felt impressed this morning to tell you of my experiences with adeno musinous carcinoma. My cancer was spread through a surgical error when my surgeon sliced through the middle of my stage 0 tumor during my colon resection turning it into stage 4 colon cancer a year later. We had consulations with several Drs. and the only treatment in Utah was chemo which would not cure me but would extend my life for a couple of years. My husband started researching and found a treatment available cont.
I had a colonoscopy two years ago and I am due for another one in about three years. While the actual test isn't all that bad, the prep for the test is terrible. However, I will go back when it is time.
