Every band in the sixties want to sound like the Beatles. This is his early days. It's pretty much a knock off of old beatles material. Even the name "the spiders". You gotta start somewhere. Sounds like something off revolver.

Mike Bruce and some others came from Beatle copy bands, while Furnier and others came from Rolling Stones copy bands.

actually they started out as a Beatle copy band called The Earwigs, and site the Beatles as a major influence
