inaam yaar, eik baat toe hai ke khawaja saheb, nazeer ali and tafoo, couldnt make themselves what they are now, if noor wasnt there for them......but there are some songs of khawaja saheb wiathout noor's vocals and they are great....

Khwaja Saheb was considered one of the top 5 Music Directors of India in the decade of 40s.

In his 8 films during this period he didn't use Lata,Noor Jehan or Asha and was declared Best Music Director for Singhar in 1949. Noor Jehan sang 50 songs for Khwaja Saheb. Take those 50 songs out of Noor Jehan's career and see what remains of her. In Pakistan both

Khwaja Saheb and Noor jehan together gave a

real treasure of film songs.

irfan saheb, belonging to a genius, it does suit you to say ' take those 50 songs out of noor jehan's career and see what remains of her' sorry to say (as khawaja saheb is one of my favorite composers) if we take those 50 songs out of khawaja saheb's career, there wont be a lot' isnt it.....'sheerin farhad, mirza jat'....noor jehan still got compositions by saleem iqbal, master abdullah (bit of naushad too) nazar hussain...........she was an ocean of art and singing,,,,,

award for Haider Ali(1978) without Noor Jehan and for Mirza Jatt(1982) again without Noor Jehan.Noor She wanted to act in Zehr-e-Ishq but was not interested in playback. So what happened?Nahid Niazi, Kausar Parween and

Zubaida Khannum sang their best songs and

Khwaja Saheb got Best Music Director award.

irfan ji, i say 'khawaja saheb unconditionally is one of the finest music composers, rather giant, allah allah.....i dare not oppose extraordinary talent of khawaja saheb.
