Surprises people as it's lighter than most new hot hatches. It's quicker than an e46 m3 too. But... The looks you either love or hate. As for reliability both my coupes have been very reliable because I look after them.

The Fiat coupe turbo 20v was an awesome car. I loved my 1998 20v turbo, but sold it back in '03 (before the timing belt and other problems started). Still if you have the cash (or abiltity) to keep them in top running form, one of the best junior racer's out there. Ran mine on the German Autobahn up to 267kmh without any problems. Had lowered suspensions and sharp looking "Porsche" styled wheels. I drive Audi's now though.

However, same 20v turbo and now mine on stage 3 (305bhp @ wheels) and running OZ Ultra leggera 18" with quaife LSD, rarb, and eibach coilovers and all i have to say is whaty a difference! No understeed, lot less torque steer and pulls like a train. left the 20v turbo quite easilly but then again all the m ods did cost me 5k!!

Vxr's are poor a lot of torque steer. Loving the coupe wanna see the superspool in action. Very quick cars for the price. I love my coupe just need it mapping now.
just had an awsome race with a vxr :P had him up until 90 - 100mph then he pulled away ! he sed it was 260 bhp! so was pretty happy my rover coupe with around 210 220bhp kept up!
ive got the 20 v turbo coupe, in identicle colour to the 1 in the clip. looks the tits and performs better then anything round town, got it at 270 bhp, looking to get that to 300 in near future, mine is in mint condition and looks better then all the new modern cars on the road and performs loads better.... blow vxr,s away any day of the week lol.. and cant say ive found any rust on mine lol...
yes but a vxr wouldn't stand a chance against a stage 3 or 4 coupe! the point is a std coupe is faster than a std astra and its 10% of the price. by the way a stage 3 or 4 coupe would trounce an astra the engine aint in the same league 5 cyl 20v turbo dillivers the power better too. vxr overrated.
that coupe is a 1998 so 10 yrs older than the astra and is in better condition than it aswell not to mention blowing it off the road. how many astras of that age do u even see on the road. shit comment
No mate they are the times for the Coupe 20v Turbo. 0-100 is 14.5, the VXR is tested at around 17.0. The Coupe is much quicker in gear. I own an 07 VXR :)
