Their song writting ability and style is unparalleled and unlike anything else I've ever heard .. that's what makes them so original and unique ! Makes me wonder how someone can get so close to my own thoughts and still open my eyes to others .
loveee Lucero! when i need an escape i just pop their cd in. ben's voice and raw emotion and lyrics just blow me away. i wanna go see them when i turn 21 so i can throw back my first legal shot to these guys rockin' LIVE! woo hoo! this music is good to listen to sober, drunk, happy, sad, anytime, anywhere. i can honestly say i think they are the best band i've ever heard.
i just saw these guys last saturday night and they all look a lot different now than they do in this video but none more than john c. stubblefield (the bassist) he has put on a little weight and his hair is like super long and he has a massive beard... i almost didn't recognize him at first... but i have loved these guys for years and this was my 5th time seeing them live... one hell of a show, especially with the organ player and the lap steel player, adds a lot to their sound...
