He's said in other interviews that he tries to stay in the American accent on set, and you can tell the difference between the on-set and off-set interviews. He even said in one interview that he spoke in an Irish accent for the 4 months they were filming August Rush! He's that devoted to his roles, which is awesome. Just one more reason why he's such a great actor.
