  • classic song

  • @clo758 Comments like this make me sick. I mean I'm 18, and like older music but damn. I dont expect a hero cookie, and a heros medal for listening to it. If your so proud of yourself for listening to it, crank it to the max and piss your neighbors off, or let em love it. For the last part of your comment, I think your a little late for knowing what real music is. It's nothing new, Meatloaf is what our parents grew up on. Now most of us listen to it. Remember though, I ain't being mean.

  • @flameboyab Amen!

  • Quote from eminem

Haters can make like bees with no stingers and drop dead

  • @Metelhead02 it's rock

  • this is one of those songs you just can't hate, whatever style you like.

  • ever notice how jim steinmans songs all sound a like

  • @emaclynch True, he's got an easy to recognize style. One can spot it even when Barbra Streisand sings one of his songs! Which she did!

  • THIS IS ROCK MUSIC!!!!

Make no comparisons to any other so-called 'rock': this is the real thing.

  • 8 ppl are bieber fag fans

  • @Drink14You Holy shit it is coming to Rock band? Seriously? .... I must play rock band. :/

  • @phantomsyren

Yeah, but they cut most of the song out. It only goes for about 2 minutes on Rock Band.

  • @lea72camille then go listen to fuckin bieber......dis is y u dont give a computer 2 a 3 year old......they like da shittest things....

  • @lea72camille Packofsixpack You two suck! This song is amzing and slipknot is awesome too, But never bad mouth the classics!

  • @lea72camille ur an idiot

  • @Packofsixpack Hey, I like slipknot too. I CAN SPELL THE BAND NAME RIGHT!

  • @Packofsixpack That comment is crap, I rather listen to JB.

  • @Packofsixpack i like slipknot but u dont know good music

  • @Packofsixpack i love both dude -.- this is old school more than the new stuff. if you cant appreciate this than you will never truly appreciate the new stuff.

  • @Packofsixpack listen bitch. Slipknot and bands like it wouldnt be here if it werent for guys like Meatloaf and others like him so shut the fuck up.

  • @Packofsixpack If it's crap then why are you even listening to it? Seriosuly? Be mature and keep stupid comments to yourself. It'll do you some good obviously. People like you make people like us look good. :]

  • Ah, good music... It was long ago, and it was far away and it was so much better than it is today...

  • @phantomsyren he saw it as one of my favourites im a subscriber and utube friend and i guess he looked at my account and i sent him a link to it look at his channel redpony2

  • @centersex1 Holy shit nice!

    Thank you!

  • Oi I’m a 16 year old girl and i like this song :/ I also like ELO, Queen and Bing Crosby

just because we're younger than you doesn’t make your music taste or you any better it also doesn’t give you the right to talk down to us as if not liking a song you liked make you superior I know a few people from "your generation" that have absolutely appalling music taste, but its what they like and what makes someone feel something in one song may not be the same for another person.

  • @littleseconds I'm also 16. He's right. The music from this generation is absolute trash :l You can't seriously compare today's popular songs to the popular songs from the 70s or 80s. The old music is in a completely different league of it's own. Lyrically and musically.

  • "it was long ago, and it was far away, and it was so much better than it is today"

    MUSIC!!!

  • I'm a 14 year old girl and I gotta admit, I love this. :P

  • @mikaririshow Why don't people like you live near me :/

  • @TimGraupner well, that kinda depends on where you live eh?

anyway, most of us hide... mwuhahaha!

  • I feel like this should be an excerpt from some musical.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG !!!

  • This song is kinda sad when you think about it, she said yes just to get love and he said he'd love her just to "get her". they were with each other for the wrong reason and then he broke her heart.

  • Come on let me listen to the reporter!!!

  • Epic song is rediculously epic!

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • Whaaaaaaaah

  • @feestbeest007 o_O Which one was it? Ear-gasum or Music-gasum? Cos your comment has to be the result of one of the two.

  • gd song man

  • @bollocks1936 Oh yea.

  • 325 people had great taste in music, 7 people are twats.... ;P thanks for the upload

  • @Sprous97 Thank ya kindly. :)

  • My favorite part of this song is the baseball announcer. Genius!

  • I'm gonna admit, I'm too young to have listened to this when it came out, but please dont assume I'm retarded just because most kids listen to stupid meaningless music? And yes, this is good music...

  • lol @ people bragging about their young age. What does that have to do with anything? I've been listening to this kind of music forever and never bragged about it on the interwebz... Ahhh kids these days.

  • im 14 and i love this song so what !!

  • im 11 and i love this song best song ever

  • this is what u call music <3

  • Ahh...reminds me of my first bf, we did just this! Drove down by the lake and had the time of our life in the backseat of that old car.... I'm still not over him.

  • im 12, and WHAT IS THIS

  • @cartoonesque Real music kiddo. Before the rap and meaningless lyrics that people dance to who think that they are in love. This, is the bones of real music. The raw flesh of emotion within music.

  • @phantomsyren buddy, listen to some lyrics, just cause u think its meaningless, doesnt mean u can state that as a fact. its your

OPINION. NOT a FACT. good song, not hating

  • @kardok427 I do and merely translate them in another way rather than most. When some raps talk about shooting people and rape as well as shaking ass, it gets annoying. As well as some country songs talking about how they want their dog back. THAT is a fact. Also another fact, a lot of country music is depressing and areas in which county music is mostly broadcast, has a higher rate of depression/suicide if the majority of the population listens to it. That is also a fact.<3 music regardless.

  • @phantomsyren Totally agreed except for putting all everyday's music in 1 corner. Today's rock is.. well still OK, though 80s were better, and I'm 19 ;)

  • @ArkoMusicK haha. 80's were okay, I agree to an extent. I like the 70's and early 90's/late 80's more. Oddly, some of those songs did have soul in them.

  • @phantomsyren Oh damn straight. I'm only 20, but even I know what real music is.

  • @lordODonnel Hell yea.

  • @phantomsyren Rap can have real lyrics and emotion too.... go listen to Joe Budden or Immortal Technique and tell me they don't have soul. You can't classify a whole genre like that, bullshit like Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane, yeah, fuck them , emotionless, meaningless garbage, but there is real emotive music there to be found, just like in rock and pop, there are meaningless artists there too.

  • @ONzViiZi *coughing/laughing* No, just no child, just no.

  • @camarorider67 Continue your ignorance elsewhere, i'm 16 and i bet i can hold a better conversation than you, and listen to the other side of the argument and consider their points rather than makin myself look like an ignorant fool

  • @ONzViiZi I'm not even going to touch the conversation comment. I remember when you could only hear rap on underground stations(something you arn't old enough to remember). I'll admit, for growing up on a farm in Georgia in the 50's, I thought it was ok, at first. But then they started rapping about killing cops and all that. I've been around long enough to remember what rap started out as, hell I'm old enough to remember when rock came out, but rap is nowhere near as deep as rock can get.

  • @camarorider67 i completely agree with the first part of your commment, there is no place in society for anti-police rap or killing people, but there are rappers out there who dont follow that kinda trend, again i would say Joe Budden, he talks a lot about feelings and everyday life, he also suffered from depression and other mental health problems so he gets really deep about it, eg. "I ain't psycho, don't belittle me now, it'sjust the title, cause they couldn't figure me out"

  • @ONzViiZi What about the old time "Murder Ballards" our parents listened to? - "Banks of the Ohio" "Frankie and Johnny" "Knoxville Girl" "Cocaine Blues" "Stagger Lee" "Tom Dooley" "Hey Joe" to name a few. Songs of killing solders, "Battle of New Orleans" ? We have a history of songs of killing and death.

  • @ONzViiZi Son, there's an entire generation between us. When I was your age I drove cars with fins on 'em and the people we called our friends were the people we saw every day. Rock has a rythm, a groove, a soul. Rock has the power to make you feel emotions from burning down a town to makin' it with the first girl you saw. I've listened to rap, I hear it everywhere, but it is just missing that 3rd dimension that rock has, depth. A real song is one that can make you feel what the singer feels.

  • @camarorider67 amen

  • @ONzViiZi and i apologise for my conversation comment, i meant no harm

  • @phantomsyren Them's be fighting words. Rap is a powerful force and a beautiful music form; it is mainstream commercialism that drives rap to the barren disgusting form on the radio. But mainstream isn't the only type of music and there are poets who rap soulfully in the underground, I swear there are. If its not your cup of tea, than avoid dissing the subject just 'cus. And just to make a comment relative to the video, this is one of my favorite songs! :)

  • @phantomsyren Them's be fighting words. Rap in itself is a beautiful music form it is the mainstream commercialism that has brought it down to the disgusting soul-less garble on the radio. But mainstream isn't the only type of music, there are soulful poets rapping underground, I swear there are. If its not your cup of tea, that's fine, but avoid attacking whole genre's please and peace be with you. And just to make a comment relative to the video, this is one of my favorite songs! :)

  • @phantomsyren please don't ever say before rap as if rap isn't real music with meaning. There's a lot of soul in all kinds of music. Just because radio doesn't reflect doesn't make it not true. Rap is an art-form. Real music lives today just as it did "before."

  • @cartoonesque shit i'm 16 and this i love this song!!!

  • @cartoonesque This is 1 of the greatest bands in the whole world learn that rock or reagge are the music styles who are before that rap and other kind of that and fuck it you are 12

  • @napo105 10/10 troll. Also, this band is good but it's FAR from being one of the best in the world. Led Zep, G'n'R, Pink Floyd. Queen. The Who, The Doors, and it goes on and on.

  • @cartoonesque yeah just what you say but there are some bands beter like ACDC, KISS, Black Sabbath but still look at his reaction!!

  • @cartoonesque THE WHO, HELL YES! Roger and I share the same birthday, if I recall correctly. I wanted to go to one of his concerts a year or two ago when he was having a tour. Would love to meet that man and shake his hand.

I have shaken Andersons' hand from Jethro Tull... well rather his elbow (has arthritis in his hands now) about four years ago at Interlochen [spelled wrong, but it is the greatest art high school in the world by reputation, and its only an hour from me]. THAT made my night.

  • @cartoonesque This is the music of the greatest generation ever!

  • im 13, and I LOVE THIS SONG

  • Awesome!! But is It Only me or does the Ending Suck!!LoL Peace Everybody!!nd Ya I'm a Girl!!

  • Story of my life

  • If my first time had this song in the background, I'd probably ruin the mood by laughing about how perfect it was. Then go on wondering if it wasn't staged.

  • The Earth will turn too hot by the increasingly luminosity of the sun such as the oceans will boil away in the year 1,000,000,000 AD... if that's the end of time Meat Loaf is praying for.

  • All this and it includes the Scooter!!!

  • this is real music ~!

they don't make music like this anymore D=

    it's all rap now - 3-

    hate rap - 3-

  • @BloodyXYuuki AMEN!

  • @BloodyXYuuki AGREED~!!

I Was orn And Raised on This Stuff~~ Hell This is The Shit's <33

  • @BloodyXYuuki

if you'd dig deeper you'd find good music, but yes, the mainstream music now is FUBAR

-coming from a 16 year old-

  • i just love the lyrics, so damn true

  • this song is awesome....great transitioning

  • I LOVE THIS SONG I AM 14 AND I LOVE MEATLOAF this song reminds me of queens b.r all the little bits in it make it brill :D x

  • why do people argue about this song and bohemian rhapsody being better than each other? cant we just enjoy great music and keep our opinions to ourselves for a while?

  • 3:15-3:16, greatest transition ever. it just flips ahaha

  • that was good
