My favorite concert was part of DICK CAVETT MEETS ABBA 1981. After a meandering interview, they cut loose for a studio audience. They run through Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Super Trouper and On And On And On. This is in their final months together, and there is a mature look. They are so great! The ladies wear lacy blouses and leather trousers. They could have stepped out of a painting by one of the Old Masters.

They were not happy here really and should not have performed this song. Just look at Bjorn and Benny's faces.Lacks energy and entusiasm. Look at their Wembley performance of this song two years earlier. Completely fantastic. However, they played a very good and emotional version of Knowing Me Knowing You here at the D. Cavett show. But as a whole, the show was a bit akward. They looked happier one year later (late breakfast show) but then they split. But ABBA had many happy moments too!!!!!!
