@SweetDreams1430 I know there are many books like this out there, but I used one by Corrine Netzer. it's called, "The Complete Book of Food Counts." -Cindy
Hi Cindy, how are you? If it is possible to you, would you please start to write the nutrition information per serving for your recipes, for carb and sugar, as i am diabetic and i like to try you recipes but i really need to know about the no. of grams per serving. Thanks a lot.
@SweetDreams1430 I wish I could, but with doing all the filming an editing myself there isn't time for me to do nutritional info, too. I remember when my son was first diagnosed, I had a book that listed the carbs for everything, so on special recipes, we looked up all the ingredients and figured out how many carbs for each serving. You could also do that, if you wanted. -Cindy
Is your son diabetic?.. by the way i like your taste in your kitchen, the colors of your kitchenware, everything selected carefully, and the kitchen itself neat and arranged, and you are amazing, i like the way you explain the recipe, i can't wait to try your recipe next weekend, I will start with orange cupcake then this one. Thanks a lot for the great cooking videos, keep them coming.
@SweetDreams1430 I like my little kitchen, too! For many years I though it was too small, but it's perfect for filming in :) Yes, my son Cameron is Type 1. He's been on an insulin pump for almost half of his life and doing GREAT! He manages his diabetes, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. You should check out his podcast, "In Range." It's all about ways to manage both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. -Cindy
I made these today and had a bunch of people come over for them they were amazing thank you. I have made several of your recipes for parties and they are always a hit. Thanks so much!
@TheAmberdewer That is SO great!! To be honest, that is what I love most about cooking & baking; when you're friends and family enjoy it! Thank you for the kind words, too:) -Cindy
@adrianjacobalba In this recipe, it's all-purpose flour. If I use cake flour, I make mention of it specifically. For me, I call regular all-purpose flour just "flour." -Cindy
Hi Cindy, I love your Killer Black & White cupcake. But my brother would love it more if the chocolate is a little bitter and less sweet. What can I do? Should I add the unsweetened chocolate bar and less of the sugar? Please, help =)
@adrianjacobalba The first thing I would try is reducing the sugar in the cupcake batter to 1 cup, instead of 1-1/4 cup. You could also decrease the sugar in the filling to 2T. instead of 1/4 cup and you could use dark chocolate instead of the semi-sweet in the filling. Let me know what you end up doing! -Cindy
hi Mrs Cindy this is the second time i write to you i've seen many channels especially one of this young lady her cupcakes look beautiful but they are NASTY not good at all unlike yours yours are AMAZING and im going to keep on making them i am not disappointed at all i wish you continue your amazing recipes God bless and keep on making more videos on cupcakes and other recipes
@GermanSlavi12 we are cooks and yes we do like to eat and i bet you do to :) next time spell eat right and we are happy with mrs cindy because her recipes are good i am a professional cook for many years and i do love to eat everybody does when things are good
and i like mrs cindy recipes because there are good
I think that would work fine...you probably will get a few less cupcakes because the cheesecake part takes up some of the space, but give it a go! - Cindy
If you use semi-sweet chocolate instead of unsweetened chocolate, you'll have to decrease the sugar. Try using only 1 cup, instead of 1-1/4 cup of sugar. Let me know how it turns out!
what is the name of the book listed the carbs for ingredients? please give the title so i will search for it at local bookshops.

Thank you for answering my question Cindy. The thing is, the filling is perfect, what my brother want is the chocolate cupcake to be a little bitter
