Why is it that in every Damien Rice song mostly though, particularly Volcanoes, Rootless Tree, Delicate, there is a very very very subtle almost seems like it's not there at all... emotion of... intimacy. Like really really stroooong intimacy. I've noticed that in almost all his songs... this emotion of intimacy... seriously I feel suddenly shy when I hear his songs.

What I love about this video is that it's simple, a straightforward performance. I just watched Katy Perry's video with Kanye West and the video completely took away from the music. Did they feel they needed to distract the audience from noticing how awful the song is or something? The video itself was quite cool, some of it at least, but the impact this video has against the pure white background is just perfect, and adds to the song rather than detracts from it.
