Hey man, I was messing about with the Camtasia and I got the black screen too. You see the mouse movements and hear audio but the background is still black. I don't really want to delete my DivX player because i use it to watch movies but I don't have DivX+ player? Is that still why it is not working?
@knockoutk1ng123 i wld take a strong guess and say YES!! its more than likely why its not working cos of divx. my advice is to unistall divx and see if camstasia works. if it does then you know whats the prob.
Thanks dude! This was was more help than anything else I could find online. Pretty much everything I found just said to disable hardware acceleration, which is not even possible in Win 7. On the rare occasions someone acknowledged this fact, they just said that if you have Win 7 you're screwed because you can't disable it.
Divx was sitting on my computer serving basically no purpose. Good ridance, and thanks again! :)
