The entire front end is a dead giveaway that this is not a Z-71 not to mention the lack of the Z-71 roof rack that was standard equipment. Where is the painted to match front bumper with the round fog lights? Not saying anything bad about the truck, far from it. I actually own a 2005 Tahoe LT Autoride. I didn't go with the Z-71 package because of the electrical problems that plague my buddies 2003 Z-71. So I got the next best thing, which was the LT Autoride. Very sharp looking truck you have!

The Tahoe Z71 has differnt shocks, more skid plates, stock 3.73 gearing, and option 4.19 gearing, stock 5.3 Engine. The we have the Z71 roof rack, painted front and rear bumpers, and the front valabce is differnt, and badging, and off road jounce bumps

You are all idiots. Z71's aren't just the cladding, its also the Skid plates, and transmission. Mine has a 4.10 gear ratio. But this still isn't a Z71. Anyone can throw on a Z71 emblem and call it that. The only way you know is the Codes in the glove box..morons.

Z71's don't have a different transmission. They have different shocks, some skids, different bump stops. the 'hoe was regeared to 4.10 most likely. Do some research before you call everyone a moron.

yo dude it's a Z71 but this is the middle east import trim Z71... they are slightly different than the ones in US... they don't come with the round fog lights and the colored plastic bumpers.... I know it coz I own a Z71 middle east trim ;)
