Thats what im talking about. She needs to get a better gun though. A double barrel wouldnt have cut it if there were multiple intruders. Either some sort of tactical 12 ga or an AR 15 would have been better. And fuck any hippie or yuppie who thinks otherwise.
Good job Mommy Sarah and sorry about your husband and I could not beleave that the cops were going to charg her for protect herself and her baby boy. I what to know what took the cops so long to get there and she called them What a dum ass town if any is going to brake in your home you have the right to protect yourself and your loveones and it you have to kill you kill. I think that town should take good care of her a her baby and be lucky she dose not sued their dum asses. And she would win !
@sonofatiger What are you talking about? The cops aren't charging her for anything, they publicly supported her actions taken against the invaders. They ARE however charging the second man involved, with the death of his accomplice.
There is an old Korean Proverb: The law is far, the fist is near. She did what she had to do. As a new dad myself I felt sad to hear her husband died on Christmas day. I would never want to die on a holiday and make it a tragic day for my family. Nor would I want to die and leave my family vulnerable to murderous scum. She protected herself and her baby and rid the world of a douchebag criminal predator.
She is a hero for protecting her a baby and the dog by shooting the burglary. FUCK THE COPS! THEY ARE FUCKING SLOW TO COME TO THE RESCUE! This is why in this country we have the 2nd Amendment which the right to bear arms.
@SilentEagles That's like saying "FUCK CARS" because they don't instantly teleport you to your destination. Of course they don't do that, and there's nothing you can do about it. So rather than bitch about it, and take it out on something (or someone) that has no power over the situation, DO something about it yourself. Like you said, that's why we have the Second Amendment. Now that you have a solution, stop complaining about the problem.
@SilentEagles How can you blame the cops for not being able to be there immediately? It's not as if it's a personal problem with each police officer, it's a matter of logistics and simple math. They're NOT going to already be at the scene of a crime BEFORE it happens, so they naturally won't be there until
1. Someone calls 911
2. An operator finds the closest officer
3. That officer is able to get through traffic, etc. to the scene
She definitely knew that guy. Call it maternal instinct on her part if that makes you feel better. Cool as a cucumber; gave the baby the bottle...got the ok from the police- BANG! That guy wasn't breaking in for any drug store meds either (how would he know they were there?). Let's see if the guy's companion comes clean about the truth. I GUARANTEE you she knows that guy and what he was there for. DEFINITELY knows him.
Why should anyone have to ask if it's ok to defend their gift of life and the life of their child ? It's because the laws in this country have made everyone afraid to stand up for their rights. If this had happened in California... this brave young mother would have probably been arrested and the other perp (and his lawyer) would be suing her for mental distress.God bless you young lady for having the guts to defend yourself against a pathetic scumbag.
Thank God she had a gun to protect her baby and self with. Who breaks in to a trailer park? Those men were up to no good, and more then just stealing. Shoot 'em again, honey!
@tjbollman1 A news report I just read today says the two men knew her husband had just recently died of cancer, and were planning on breaking in because they had hoped she would still have all his medications still in the home... how pathetic is that? But I'm sure at least the man who died had more than one motive, he brought gloves and a huge knife with him... who knows what he was planning to do to her and/or her baby.
This women is Amazing!! God Bless her and her little baby!! She is a hero, her clearheaded thinking and action prevented a great tragedy from happening, kudos to the 911 operator too, because she could not legally tell her to shoot or not, but she did remind the situation by saying, you do what you have to do to protect your baby, helping the mother to see she must Act because a defenseless is depending on her. This is a good result as you can get from such a situation, She is a true hero!!
Justice is done. An individual has the right to use deadly force on an intruder, and doesn't have the duty to speak to them and try to talk them out of it.
-Unlawful users of certain depressant, narcotic, or stimulant drugs
-Those adjudicated as mental defectives or incompetents or those committed to any mental institution and currently containing a dangerous mental illness.
-Non-US citizens, unless permanently immigrating into the U.S. or in possession of a hunting license legally issued in the U.S.
-Minors defined as under the age of eighteen for long guns and handguns, with the exception of Vermont, eligible at age sixteen.
-Persons convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence (an addition)
-Persons under indictment for a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year are ineligible to receive, transport, or ship any firearm or ammunition
-Those who already own firearms would normally be required to relinquish them upon conviction.
all the love to this girl. while other girls her age are puking on their shoes, after drinking binges, this girls is a quiet, silent hero. you will not see woman like this in a hollywood movie, or a miley cyrus concert. i kneel in front of you and kiss your feet Sarah. what do you think a girl her age, high on justin bieber, and drunk since last tuesday, would do in this situation? id say she would do the usual and puke on her shoes. this is someone i want my daughter to look up to. much love

This is not "maternal instinct to a whole new level." It's normal. She's a a good mom.
The fact that Ryan Owens thinks her reaction was extraordinary shows what a frivolous nothing he is.

@kaihau (1) Assuming you're referring to your parole officer, here's federal law on "Prohibited Persons":
The following list of prohibited persons are ineligible to own firearms under the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act.
-Those convicted of felonies and certain misdemeanors except where state law reinstates rights, or removes disability.
-Fugitives from justice
-Unlawful users of certain depressant, narcotic, or stimulant drugs
