  • @pigmanjojo Give us a call 916.670.1103 we stock a lot of great optics. What price range? Mike @ CST

  • I am looking for some help so I don't look stupid at gun store / my father bought me a 308 bolt with bull barrel / most of my shots are under 200 yards but would like to be able to shoot 600 if I had to what scope would u recommend if you had to buy one today

  • man you should start a school for "Learning How To Shoot Long Range" I would definitely pay to take some courses!

  • @miltnxc123 There may be something in the works.

  • @CSTactical1

What would be the best scope for a .177cal 22.79joules 1000fps air rifle?

  • @molinobeer There are a lot of great scopes out there for Air Rifles it comes down to how much you what to spend and how serious you are about shooting Air Rifles. You can get a BSA on the cheap side to a Schmidt & Bender for the Hard Core Air Rifle Shooter.

  • @CSTactical1

Wow thank very much for the fast and helpful response. Answering, it will be my first rifle and scope, but I feel like I should buy something good because I want to get serious about it. Are gamo scopes good (I'm from europe and they are easier to get)? Per example the "Gamo MD 4-16 X 50 AO" (don't know what AO means though). (One thing weird about gamo scopes is that some don't have knobs, it seems like they are regulated by turning the whole front or back of the scope)

  • @molinobeer I would like to help you out more I just do not have a lot of experience with scopes for air rifles.

  • @miltnxc123 Very informative video, I am trying to select a scope for my rifle and this gave me a lot of good information to base my decision on.

  • @68northss I'm glad our video was of help. Thank you for the feedback.

  • Outstanding presentation.

  • @tfre3927 Thanks for saying so.

  • @CSTactical1 no probs - actually I do have a quick question - I'm looking at the Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x56mm in the NP-R1 MOA reticle for medium to long range hunting/ steel targets. While I know it's a second focal plane scope will this mean I can't use the moa increments on the reticle on any other power other than x15? I realise with the 5.5-22 you can use 11 but is there a similar option for those using the 3.5-15? Many, many thanks in advance

  • @tfre3927 You can adjust it to about 7.5x and the reticle will be double.

  • @CSTactical1 So w/ the NP-R1 in the 5.5x22-56 it's only 1MOA at 22X? Then at 11 it would be 2MOA?

  • @DallasfuckingTT That is correct.

  • Excellent video guys, really helped me with what scope strenght to go with. Fantastic info, cheers

  • @XB0666 Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching!
