I believe the meaning behind the alien race and "A man's got to be in his own Heaven to be happy" was about how different religions and individuals imagine heaven. A lot of comments on this video just here are already talking about "What Heaven Is Supposed To Be Like".
Heaven is only for the Individual. Heaven can be wings and halos, 72 virgins, travelling the universe or party on the dance floor. Nobody can tell you what you want. This is what I believe Twain was saying to everyone about this.
Nobody knows what heaven will be like. It won't be like our world at all. We'll be with God for Eternity, separated from this Earth and totally satisfied forever!
I am starting to agree with this movie. It isn't creepy at all, it's actually true. Heaven is what we want it to be. The Groks represent those who like to party and be slobbish, so that's what they get.

4.57-5.05 = the best shit ever. Though the whole thing, i find incredible, and love dearly. The whole concept of the heavens, and the, I guess, obscurity (not best word) of it was great. Was this film based off of the book, The Adventures of Mark Twain, that I never did read in Junior High??
