@deCaravagio : The language if Farsi which is spoken both in Iran and part of Afghanistan. The song is an iranian song sang by Mr. Namjoo , also an iranian singer. Enjoy :)
deCaravagio just assumed that the song is Turkish and then he realized and apologized. Stop blaming Turks for stealing things and dont write hatred messages under such a beautiful song!!!
@auroralostinthewoods: I agree about posting of hateful messages; however, my message was factual rather than hateful. In either case, I removed my original post...
blaming a whole nation on stealing things cannot be a fact. it is actually the most basic form of a hatred message...you were brought up with some stories and you call them facts. someone else can come up with different facts. history is full of controversies. but this is not the platform to discuss these things... thank you for being sensitive and removing your original message.
The more I listen the more I like this music. It "grows" on me. It is a mixture of love, sadness, and beauty that exemplifies our culture. We love to be sad, and sad to be in love. We are sadly in love with beauty that is unreachable, and beautiful in expressing our sadness in form of poetry, literature, and music alike. May be it is time to exchange the sadness with happiness then I can re-write this comment replacing the word "sad" with "happy"!!! That will be the day that I die happy! Ali...
@moeali12345 very well put. comparing persian and azeri sonat music, you see a fundamental difference where one is generally meloncholy and the other is joyous. doesnt make either better by any means. even to play the "happy" dastgah of mahour in farsi there is still something behind it "happy to be broken". oh well.
What an amazing talent. I love to see such uniquely creative voices from my land. Despite the violent intolerance that islam shows towards any thing new and different. I'm proud of these rays of hope coming out of the darkness of Iran.
@cbcvkjk "day delay" is more of a meaningless (in terms of words) expression a singer uses when s/he cannot remember the lyrics. It is also used as an expression implying dire situation /disagreement in response to something you hear.

This song is expressing the very core and intellect of the singer, the poet and the feelings of this nation. I am so amazed at the power of this song. Yes, I am thirsty for more songs as such also.
Although it is not easy for some us who've been away from the Persian language for too long to understand the "hidden and underlying" message in his songs, I still get this much that He Wants to Scream ...... He wants to Breath..... He wants to say: Fuck You All, You Dead People, without making it personal.....
The first time I heard Namjoo I remember I had to sit back and wonder : Had I really discovered the greatest Iranian musical talent or was it just the late hour. Now, a year later, I'm sure he is one of the giants of Iranian music. I wish him the very best.
Love it that you sing Hafez's poems so nice. Warm voice and very talented. Afsus ke all these Iranian talented artists have to live in abroad/ They deserve more and we deserve to have them beside us in a better word surrounding us in Iran.
Iran has sentenced renowned Iranian singer-composer Mohsen Namjoo to five years in prison over what has been described as insulting religious sanctities.
vow! vow! and vow! again wonderful. Thank you Mr. Namjoo to give the pleasure of listening to your songs to the many people who are deeply touched by your beautiful music.
Namjoo has no good voice that could be called a singer. However Namjoo has became so popular because of "New Style" in singing Beautiful Periasn Poems, like this one from Hafez.
Namjoo is brave in presentation of his songs, he follows wherever his feeling is taking him; in the Video in Response, Namjoo simply repeating the word "Bebin" or "Look!" or "Look at them". But, Namjoo repeats as many as he feels in presistingly asking LOOK ending to huge emotional & tears as Video photos pass on!
sorry I have a question? and please dont swear i'm not some jackass anti- persian but I wanna know whats wrong with the rest of the world? why do we love our selves and our country so much? what is there to love? well sure I love the people the arts and those stuff but whats with the country? I really like to know, I think we should love everybody the whole world sting says "we share the same biology regardless of ideology"
but i didn`t say any word about other nations , my main issue was our native and our country and what happens there , i believe that we should respect all nations and know that there is no difference between any skin color ,,
Zolf bar bad madeh!! I Love this performance. The video is very nice also.
To behradng: I have also pondered about the same question. I believe If you really love something, you dont need your intellect to justify it for you. You know it before you know anything else.
I love my home country and I am always proud of it. That is not being ethnocentric or racist or abnormal, thats just passion, can you feel it!
I totally agree with you. We Iranians mix love and empathy with national feelings too much. Or at least in talk any ways. In Tehran traffic you see how much this love and empathy is worth.
what I love about this video is Zohreh Ebrahimi ... I love her because of her character and strength. I wish to interview her one day! Smart and Thoughtful song.
Bah bah alie.

I am with you. But:
1- I am not sure that we (approximatly all iranian) dont truly love our country, even same as the other countries and peoples.
2- In my oponion we are in kinda public depression statues currently and we should recall all our proudes and honors.

but i didn`t say any word about other nations , my main issue was our native and our country and what happens there , i believe that we should respect all nations and know that there is no difference between any skin color ,,

Zendeh baad Iran.

I totally agree with you. We Iranians mix love and empathy with national feelings too much. Or at least in talk any ways. In Tehran traffic you see how much this love and empathy is worth.
