Well......, In some breeds and in alot of top performace horses, persay, jumpers a good weight in the horses is when u can she a small bit of the line in the ribs, but the muscling in the butt AND neck should abundent with a slick coat to be considered healthy. But a horse that has a few inchs of fat or so inbetween the ribs is really considered obeese. Though I guess that means half of our horses are =p cuase i know some of mine are pretty close, but hey! they need their treats!
Three Strikes Ranch appears to be aptly named. It's nothing more than a death sentence to any animal who lives there. Human beings who abuse animals are the lowest form of scum.
That scumbag owner of the ranch should be sentenced to life in prison and a bread and water diet. Even that would be too good for this person who is lower than a cockroach
HSUS has been sent to go after 9 over 9 cattle in Morrill.Please help HSUS put a stop to the over grazing the Frieburgers have been doing and to have them stop feeding black moldy hay to the 76 cattle they have left out of the 500 they told everybody they had.HSUS needs to seize the poor helpless mother cows since the Frieburgers cannot afford to buy any pasture ground or good feed for them.

3strikes had hundreds of dead mustangs and trenches full of bones from past years of horse killing. Many Vets reported starved horses that were dehydrated. He turned off the water so they would die faster. He dragged horses into piles and tried to cover them with sand. He never wormed a horse. he had 50 stallions and even long yearlings were preg. Hes a disgrace and needs a long time in jail with no WATER OR FOOD.

Whose side are you on? just curious....Those horses were NOT fat...they weren't totally emaciated, but by no means were they fat...
these horses are not fat at all.... my grandpa has a hundred some horses... all of his are fed good.... these ones are skinny.... can almost see their ribs...

Poor babies :( I'm just glad they're safe now. I'm sure a lot of them would be good riding horses once they're better.

Great job with the rescue! I hope someone posts some videos showing the worse off horses, as some people seem to think the horses look fine.

Those horses are "fat" because they are the ones Jason favored. The others will not look so good.

They are also the ones that were easiest to move and in the least danger of stress from the trip. And even so, look how they dove for the food!

@2bnl I wouldnt say they were fat but at 2:40 they do not look as bad as the 12 y/o AQH X TB that I rescued. But they are thin
