I have a few choice neuronal action potentials for clinicians & loved ones who dismiss us. FTR, so fucking what if a problem IS AN-related?! Does this diminish the significance of our suffering? ED's are NOT a choice! This implication appalls me! I can forgive loved ones more easily; they aren't 'professionals'. It is unacceptable from docs though. If you don't know, LEARN-- & KNOW WHEN TO REFER! Agh!
@urbanex4201 LMAO - I <3 u! seriously. You are such a loyal friend and supporter. my motto (esp for 'professionals') - Don't fuck with Pixie, or Pixie will fuck with you!
Ah ha! So it *was your anorexia* that caused that problematic solar flare! I *knew* it! ;-)
Some people jump to the darnedest of conclusions.
Works much better to go by logic, reason, evidence, objective testing and results, etc. Usually much better to test/measure than guess - especially better than guessing incorrectly.
Generally best to set aside any preconceived biases or the like - they'll often lead one in the wrong direction.
I FREAKING HATE IT WHEN MY PARENTS DO THIS! its gotten to the point to where, if something is wrong/aching i dont even tell them because I know what they'll say. ugh!
Thanks, Pixie. May I validate everything you just said... I have had the exact experience with meds and my doctors' non-helpfulness-just-do-another-test syndrome. A side-effect of too many anti-inflammatory meds is anemia. Thank goodness I have insurance because one of the hospital tests cost 10 grand. Yes, always blaming the issue on the patient is like always blaming the girl's issue on monthly issues. Nonsense. Thank goodness your doctor came off her know-it-all pedestal.
this is a very good point. Just because anorexia could be the cause of something does not mean that it is and that you don't deserve to search around and look for something that really is the problem.
@TheEmmyR Thanks for watching and commenting. It's so frustrating that people look for the most obvious thing and use it as a chance to blame or judge. xoxox

@jaisyyyy I'm the same too with parents! It's like people use it for every excuse to be judgemental, and I'd just rather not deal with it. Take care.
