  • If I was Walmart management, I'd fire and blacklist every one of these worthless ingrates.

  • Unions are anti-neoliberal and should be enforced to protect workers rights and increase their pay. People should be attacking globalization and the very institutions that promote it not the workers.

  • Why would you want to the government step in between you and the company that gives you a job? It works both ways, without employees, there would be no walmart, and without walmart, you would be out of a job and probably not even eligible for unemployment. Why would you want to become slaves to a union and pay their dues? Unions are destroying this country on many levels. Walmart has been good to you.

  • @ladylordess If I was president, I'd ban all unions, declare them to be terrorist organizations, hammer them with both RICO and the Patriot Act, round up and execute all their members and supporters or send them to Gitmo, and seize all their assets and property.

  • Omg...These are the assholes who, in my mind think they should be getting paid 30$ an hour. Wtf is wrong with people these days, this is walmart, not fucking nasa. This is a shit economy we are living in. So people have a few choices. They can either, go back to school and rise above this mess, they can shut the fuck up and be glad that they have some kind of job, or work at mcdonalds since walmart is so bad. Stop acting like we live in a fucking 3rd world country!

  • @01koldshok That's the whole entitlement thinking they learned in Marxist brainwashing camps called public schools.

  • God, I can't handle Unions. Get your own pair of balls and fight for a better position.

AND SHAME ON THAT MOTHER! If you don't like how Walmart is treating you, THEN WHY DRAG YOUR DAUGHTER INTO THAT SAME MESS!?

  • Bunch of no brain morons. Your right!...you dont have a education!...So go get one. This is America!.Stop acting like people should be giving you everything for nothing. Go get another job if your unhappy.Stupid unions are making these people look like jerks. Union free Walmart means cheaper prices for my family!

  • If you don't like the way your job treats you and you can't handle it, quit. Go live on the streets. You have that right.

Your employer pays you at the rate that he does because you, and others, are willing to work at that rate. It is not his duty to worry about you or concern himself over your wellbeing. He is not hiring you for your sake, he is doing it for his.

It's like the Russian Revolution all over again. I work at McDonald's on the side, and you will never hear me complain.

  • @SculptedThoughts These whiners would be living on the streets or in prison if I had my way.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland if i had my way u would be sucking that thick grasy cock u love to talk about tell me when u kneal to christ u look under his loin cloth and suck his commie cock to? abortion for balck kids ok?

  • @hellfirewrestling98 You should be executed for blasphemy.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland only after u are for swearing when the bible FORBIDS IT!!! u only follow parts of it

  • @DarrelfromZeeland I agree.

Not sure if you're being serious, but I certainly am.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Reading some of your comments, we diverge hugely. I can't sanction you.

  • If they hate working there so much why don't they just quit and work for the blue-cross instead? Idiots!!!

  • ok? did this make anything change at Walmart?

  • But... Those people DO have a chance at freedom, expression, and everything everyone else has.

They simply don't have the right to have the government intrude upon the open market system on their behalf. It says a lot about a person when they don't realize that what they're demanding from the government is as unconstitutional as what they'd complain against happening to them.

Don't like it? Quit. Hard for a business to stay open without employees... but they do, so who cares about you?

  • Unions are for the weak. I worked at a unionized store for a year and a half and in my time there I was paid lower than minimum wage after the union dues.

What did the union do for me? Nothing at all. I worked my ass off while they reaped the benefits. I finally quit because of one reason and one reason only: The Union.

Unions are anti-Capitalism, and anti-American. The American way was formed on the basis of Capitalism, not Socialism.

  • Wal-Mart is not welcome in our neighbourhood. This is the message from the commerce trade unions from all over Europe. At their Conference in Stockholm, Sweden last week, the unions denounced world's largest retailer for its social dumping and poor employer record. Present in the United Kingdom and Germany, the company is expected to try to expand further.

  • @tom123ek

    Yup.

To you success isn't welcome. You want good businesses, until they succeed, then you tear them apart.

    Wonderful system Europe has.

I can't image why they're having such MONUMENTAL problems.

  • dream on

  • @tom123ek

Well structured rebuttal my friend. You're in favor of the government coming in and taking away the rights of the people.

You... realize... Wal-Mart is owned by people, right?

  • in europe it is called basic rights

    in the usa

    "benefits"

  • @tom123ek

I'd prefer the government not interfere in my life.

You'd prefer the government control your life.

I guess we'll agree to disagree?

  • "No place for social dumping in European commerce"

  • by one family

  • @tom123ek

I have no idea what that means, but your glib answers are tiresome.

If you'd prefer to live your entire life like a child with a parent watching over your shoulder, enjoy your eternal youth.

  • i applyed for walmart and those jerks didnt call back! *fist shaking*

  • Those Walmart employees sure don't look underfed to me!! I hope they fire your fat asses!

  • I worked at Wal-Mart in the Optical..the girl I was working with thought it would be a big joke to switch prescriptions for my patient. I felt my blood drain out of my body. I was so stressed out thinking she would do this again..this led to a breakdown of my immune system. I thank God everyday that I'm not at Wal-Mart - But I do miss my patients!!!

  • Rather than devoting all this time to organizing and unionizing and going to Washington, why don't these people just get a better job?

  • have you try get a job recently....its hard than u think....if it was that easy ppl wouldnt be complaining

  • 1) A wal-mart that does 55 million in sales will earn about 4% net profit or 2.2 million dollars now multiple that by 4000 stores and you get 8.8 Billion profit a year.

    2) The open door policy only doesnt always work. Currently wal-mart is being sued, and has agreed to pay, 65-85 million to former workers that were forced to work off the clock. I saw those acts with my own eyes and reported those events (open door) and was watched until they found a weak excuse to fire me.

  • They look like they work REALLY hard....they are thinking...we won't have to work freight if we get a union! lol

  • Jeremy, you need to check out the 'Banished One' here on YouTube. Wilbur thought he didn't need a union until he was let go after 21 years!

  • Sometimes it really annoys me when people attack Walmart. No it isn't the best place in the world to work. No they won't cater to your life to get you 40 hours when you have a limited availabilty. No the pay isn't the best, but retail isn't the hardeset. There are so many people who think Walmart owes them so much because of their service. Around 7-10 years is when people reach burnout with a job. Which decreases their productivity and creats a conflict on their jobs. So they complain.

  • A store that has sales of roughly 50-55 million MAY be lucky enough to profit 1 million dollars on the year. This is an extremely low profit margin. Why is it low? Because there are alot of costs. Energy, distribution, wages... from the point where Walmart buys a product all the way to where it sits on the shelf there are alot of costs. It isn't as simple as buying a product and marking it up 70% and saying "wow we made 70% on that sale" There are so many products that walmart sells for a "loss"

  • I don't want a Union. I've worked at Walmart for 7 years. The Open Door Policy at Walmart and the lines of open communication are great. A Union would abolish that and would create poor lines of communications and would hinder Walmart's customer service. Plus the employees would have to pay for the Union. I don't want to pay for someone to "act" for me. I can do that just fine. Unions will not get better pay. That is a rainbow they paint to try and get in.Retail isn't as profitable as many think

  • I spent many years as a manager for Wal-Mart and can recite the "non" anti union speech they forced us to learn. Wal-Mart needs a union but needs more voices crying that out to get it. I saw how badly the "associates" were treated and tried making a change for the good and then they found out and fired me, using the excuse that I used a curse word 2 months earlier. Gather together and fight for YOUR freedoms Wal-Mart is NOT above the law !!!!!

  • stop walmart Now and Forever ! till the END !

  • Walmart stores=predator business model

  • Yeah. They are horrible, they are the only place who is hiring in this town because everything else has either a hiring freeze or has closed due to economy problems. When you are hired at walmart you go through an evaluation process to find out what charactoristics you posess, I like this because I have taken jobs before where no one knows who I am and I feel like these people know me now, but the wages need to raise with the cost of living and these degrading store policies need to change!

  • i second that. but all of those poor mom and pop stores.. did you know that when a walmart come to a new town they change the economy there?

  • They came to our town where there were 4 grocery stores. The forced the one I worked at out of business and then I went to work at another grocer for almost 2 years before that one closed. Now there are 2 grocery stores and a Super Wal-Mart.

  • uh..
