  • Great video !! very nice pictures, i am uploading my video of roudhay park and it will be online this afternoon, please take a look later, i never seen your video before now but i think i did a sort of similar work. I love Roundhay Park !

  • Leedsw Council should pay you for that.Superb.

  • I live nearby, I really value Roundhay Park. I'm there with the dog or with my kids virtually every day. I've lived in various locations in Europe and I'm not sure many of the more famous parks, e.g. bois de boulogne, even compare to Roundhay Park. It's a privilege to live so closeby.

  • brings up great memories. lived in Leeds for 3 bloody great yorkshire years and loved every bit of it. My favourite part of England. thanks for the great, tranquil vistas of Roundhay. Truly enjoyed it. And mind you, love the touch of sheer artistry in your filming skills. Thumbs up!

  • Excellent. My local park. What is the music and who is the artist?

  • @nibblenobble1 Thanks for the comment. The music is Vivaldi's Chamber Concerto in D Major by Eduardo Fernadez, George Malcolm, English Chamber Orchestra.

  • Lived in leeds for 5 years and never visitied, however definatley going there now, that should be a promotional video!

  • Yes its very well filmed, and lovely music, what programme do you use? I have made some short clips and use windows movie maker.

  • Hello Robby, thanks for the positive comments. I used Apple's iMovie 08, it's so easy to use but now I'm trying to get my head around Final Cut Express.

  • You have captured it well all my fave and well visited parts of the park of the park . One of the best parks in Leeds..

  • Thanks for positive comments. This was actually the first video I had ever filmed.

  • lol roundhay park is just like that

  • What does Roundhay Park mean to me? The most beautiful time of my boyhood. Pic-nics on the grass with my parents and 3 sisters. 6 people in a Datsun 120Y. Visiting the luna park and then to the ruins of the small castle somewhere on the premises. I'm abroad now, but when I feel down I think of Roundhay Park

  • The most beautiful park i ever seen in my life.

  • Nice video.

Im going to ride there today as its sunny : )

  • nicely done, i live in roundhay, im kinda bored of the park now though :D

    Good work

  • if only they'd let us shoot the Grey Squirrel/Tree Rats

  • Thanks, I appreciate the positive comments on the vid'. Squirrels - yeh, I can understand your point and respect it, particularly when you look at the impact they've had on our red squirrels; but then I figure 'hey, they're only trying to make a living like the rest of us and it's not their fault they're here'. And yeh, I kinda get suckered into admiring their antics so, as long as they don't encroach on any more reds, I kinda think live and let live.

  • Pretty good mate. As an asthmatic kid in the mid-1960's I'd be in there very early morning - kinda habit forming.

Best time of day and freshest. Later life running and cycling through and pushing the pram.

    Well done

  • Very relaxing to watch, well done and thankyou for showing.

  • Thankyou for watching and thankyou for the comment.

  • Phil, Another super effort. From the Flytrap.

  • i love that park =)

  • Well put together video best watched in high quality! Good use of shadows from water .Could be used by Leeds city Council as a promo film? I am sure we will see more from Phil in the future!
