Hey, just found your videos, and I can't stop watching them! This is probably a silly question but have you seen SPACED tv series? Awesome show, also have you seen Dead Leaves anime? Would def recommend. P.S. It's nice to see someone who loves films and tv as much as me!
@torquetheprisoner *facepalm* I'm guessing you missed my video about that Predator edition a while back? watch?v=DZ5i78Ihmi4 Awesome deal on the Alien set though, that one's fantastic.
@Zaranyzerak yep ur totaly right i did miss that vid cos my pc was on the rag and could not let me get on the net at that time and the only predetor vid i see you do is the the bear bones predetor on blu-ray so i totaly avoided that one as you sed but got the ultimate one instead and low and beholed it's d.n.rd to hell but i did get it at a low pirce though. i will get a better edition wen or if it comes out.
With all of the digital copies I've had, they've all worked after the 'valid' date, so if you try it it'll probably work. Loved Paul, the extended is funnier that the theatrical in my opinion.
@NicholasTuckVlogs They'll work if you've used the code before the date. The expiration is for the code which lets you download/unlock the file, not the file itself. If you try to use the code after the date, it won't work. It might work SOMETIMES, just one of those fluke things, but 99% of the time it won't.
@Zaranyzerak Yesterday I used my code for the X Files digital copy for the first time, which expired in either 2009 or 2010, and it worked perfectly fine through my iTunes, same thing happened to me with Where The Wild Things Are and Minority Report, all were expired but worked when I used them for the first time.
@NicholasTuckVlogs Well, you got lucky then. Every expired code I've ever tried has never worked. Coincidentally, I JUST tried one literally half an hour ago, and it didn't work (it was for the 2008 Get Smart movie).
Nice! Been meaning to see Paul & Beowolf. Since Hulk was in this update I thought & let ya know that my version of The Avengers Blu Ray update is uploading now if ya wanna check it out.
I liked Beowulf but hated that they felt they had to try and make the audience jump every 10 - 20 minutes, it just irritated me after a while, but I still own it on blu ray cause it's great looking and was available for £5.
@JuggaSic Lord of the Rings! But chances are you know that one already. ;) Some of my personal faves: Dragonslayer (dark n' gritty, from Disney/Paramount no less!), Legend (Tom Cruise pre-crazy, see the UK cut especially), Krull (total cheese, but a guilty pleasure), All the Conan movies of course, Excalibur (not strictly S&S fantasy, but an awesome film), honestly there weren't a TON of good fantasy films until the past 10 years or so... Harry Potter and LotR being the big two.
A lot of the recent comedies I have not seen. Because a certain company is playing games with me. I also have repairs that are way behind getting done.
@Zaranyzerak Krull is awesome plain as day! Cheese? maybe parts but overall the movie is wonderful! amazing music score and the scenery was beautiful! :) Did you know Lysette Anthony's character and Robbie Coletrane's character voices were dubbed? :)
I've actually never seen LotRs, however I've recently read The Hobbit and am moving on to the books, been somewhat stuck on the idea that I might just avoid the movies until I see what Hobbit looks like in film form...The rest of your suggestions are really good though, will definitely look for these soon...A couple were actually on my list already lol
@JuggaSic Hehehe...yeah, if you've waited this long to see the films already, might as well wait and see all 5 back to back! Sadly Fantasy is a genre that's enjoyed far more life in literary form than film form until recently. Oh, check out Game of Thrones too! Fantastic series, I definitely plan to read the original books soon.
I loved Paul, Ang Lee's Hulk for me is a beautiful film, but it is not really that great of a superhero film. It was pretty much an art film with a giant green guy in it. I really like Doom as an action-horror film. I have yet to watch Beowulf even though I rented it 3 (!) times.
I went to see "HULK" in theater when i was kid. After i saw it, i was BEYOND disappointed. I mean it was so BORING ans so LONG. Way too much dialogue, and ANG Lee was NOT a good director for this material. I don't say that he is a bad director, it was just a bad choice to pick a director who only made dramas in the past. It's like if you were asking Ingmar Bergman to do an "Iron Man" film.
Yep Boxing Day is a UK holiday, often it's more or less a Bank Holiday, so it's treated like an extra Sunday of sorts and yep our Queen; Queen Elizabeth II is still at the moment the official head of state of Canada, you certanly have been doing your research. :)
@David315842 ..which always falls on dec.26th and is not remotely like another sunday, more like the day after xmas day which is what indeed it is.,and carries as a day in lieu if xmas day falls on a friday or saturday.,which then admittedly is treated as another bank holiday.,but only then....hahahahaaaahaaaaa!!!
@Warren111able You obviously don't understand what I'm saying. When I said 'it's treated like an extra Sunday', that's because Bank Holidays are supposed to 'feel' like extra Sundays. Does that clear things up for you?!
@David315842 ah,bank holidays,,to me can either be a pain in the a*se or a blessing, depending on which side of them my giro falls....hahahahahahaaaa!!,if just after means a gift from the horses mouth so all my lovely bills can be paid early...
Doom? DOOM? Okay, just messing with you. PAUL is a great movie, very funny and has awesome performances from Simon Pegg,Nick Frost and Seth Rogan. One name titles....next video it'll be TWO name titles..... :) Just giving you a hard time. Good choices on the movies.
Totally agree with ya on the cell phone rant. Even though I carry one, it's a pain in the ass. It's sad that a whole new generation is growing up with the attention spans of a fly because of these wonderful "smart" phones. *sigh*
The problem, I had with the HULK was that it took too long before we started seeing the HULK. I loved the when he start beating up on those tanks. it really felt like an old fashion monster movie and I was enjoyed it.

England practically has a hold on half the world's cultures, if not more.
Paul doesn't interest me much. I know most people love it, and it's a Sci-Fi Comedy...but I don't know. I don't like most comedy post 1995.
Lee's Hulk is the only Avengers film I haven't watched yet. I have it, I just haven't sat down to watching it yet.
I actually really want to see Beowulf. I plan on reading the "EPIC POEM" around the same time Is see the movie.
Can't wait to see the more of thing!

Edward Norton as Bruce Banner?? I love him as an actor, but he's definitely NOT the Hulk.
It's like casting De Niro as Spiderman.

That Hulk is probably the worts film I have ever seen. The origin ruined it for me.
