Great old school gospel from Vicky Hawkins on the one and only Peacock/Duke powerhouse label. I hope she, the Hummingbirds, and the Reverend Robinson were treated well by the label, as I know Bobby "Blue" Bland and some others didn't get the most honest publishing deals with Don Robey there.
Aunt Vic!....Is a Bad Lady, and her Mom The Late Thelma Hawkins was Awesome too. And her Oldest Daughter The Late LaMesa Westbrook-Moore was dangerous too. This is a classic, and I can't wait to inform her that this song is on Youtube!....SANNNNG AUNT VIC!
