Although I prefer Kate's usual styles of more contemporary movement, I really like the past few pieces have been an exploration of other dance genres. I think it's great for Kate to be playing around with various movement, music, and going outside her "signature" steps. It's a great opportunity for her dancers to be introduced to all kinds of dance. This piece offered them a glimpse of jazz, and musical theater, and they did great! The swinging of the young dancer towards the end was fantastic!
