@SmallvilleSoraKent Actually, in this game, it's a recorder, though the game itself calls it a whistle. The first Zelda game to have an ocarina was Link to the Past, though that one referred to it as a flute. Link's Awakening was the first one to actually call it an ocarina.

My older cousin lost the box and the manual for the game, so I had no idea what the back story was, and I never could beat the game (I didn't find out you could bomb through walls until the mid 90s!) so I never had a chance to learn any different until a lot of years later.
