I didnt see Salaverry tap. Maybe the ref should have given him the chance to weather the storm and survive. He was hurt, no question, but Salaverry is a tough guy and a great fighter like him could hold on. I dont want to see the guy pounded if in fact he was defeated, but in a fight of this magnitude, maybe a champ like Ivan deserves the chance to hang on.

I think the ref was good, Ivan had no chances of keep fighting on. Without the stop of the match, Ivan wold be injured without reason.

Gono definitely looks a little bigger here. Was he about 185? He looks pretty awesome at welterweight now. Still hard to believe he was a 'heavyweight' kickboxing champ!
