WOW! I am a huge PL fan and this cover is excellent!! Wow!!! You are a talented musician, my friend! :-) Also, CueBase is a very technical program and obviously you are more than proficient with it as your sound is fantastic on your recordings. Also, we share a technique in our guitar playing. I don't use a pick either. Your sound however, is incredible, and you play like you have magic fingers! :-) Blesssings, to you and yours, John!! min :-)
@practicing4 You are too kind, I sort of cringe when I view this video, ha. It was before I started to use Cuebase so its just playing along with the mp3 backing track. Its funny I use to use a pick but now I pretty much never do unless I come across a shredding guitar player and I feel like being embarrassed, ha. I love your videos, beautiful voice and love the guitar playing. Wishing you the best - John
Hi John, nice sound, nice playing. Interessting technique, so you don´t use a pick, only one finger;-) Yes, why not, everybody finds his own way to play.
@FrankRMusic - HI Frank, when I play a solo usually one finger but it depends on what I want to do, I use more if I need them, Ha. When I play rhythm of course I use all and I like to pick and pluck. I use to use a pick but I stopped playing guitar for several years and then started back with acoustic. When I tried to use a pick it felt uncomfortable. Anyway as always, I thank you for comment and watching, I appreciate it.
Hey John My Friend I Watched! Great Playing And Nice Sounds! I Like Pink Floyd! I Give Thumbs Up! Thank You For Doing Videos Here! All The Best For Everybody! Feels By Assa!
@504Billyrocker - Thanks, that video is pretty weak, ha. It was before I had my current setup. Guitar sounds so thin. I now record using cuebase and I have digitech rp355 guitar processor. This one was just straight through an amp and recorded using a Zoom Q3 handycam.
@Ajohn13 Yep,the sound is a little to weak but the playing is great man;)my record-system is the RC2 Loopstation from Boss...inconvenient^^...i must to start with PC-programms anytime...
Looking at your back catalogue John !! Your guitar style has a lot evolved since then , specially in the last videos , but you had already an excellent feel , great note choice and it was a real pleasure to listen to this video !!
Your comments are well thought out and I value them, ha, will see if an unveiling is coming. Thanks Ulric, I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment, friend.
awesome job one suggestion... if you're going to do a Gilmour (Or any blues song) cover you should at least have a section where you're just playing 3-4 notes (some call it the box) preferably in the beginning or around 2:30 then lead up to playing like you were just so we the listener get that slow head banging rhythm... PS the more bends the better
@BradMonnett - I recently discovered NinJam. Your playing is great. I really enjoy Ninjam and the opportunity to play with musicians as good as you are. Thanks!!!!!

AJohn_Hello... It is nice to get a comment back. I actually thought my opinion was presumptuous. It was my particular take.
In truth_ your playing is quite advanced. I hope you know that. I was merely in the audience _ Wanting you to be really good or perfect.
Important: I actually like to see the whole image of the artist.
It is time to raise the curtain and let us see who you are as an artist.
You certainly are _That good.
Anyhoo !_Best of luck to you. Ulric (Seattle)
