@bburde2 American companies do this all the time to Japanese productions, though probably not stealing. If they stole the idea the thing would have only aired a few episodes before canceling for stealing the show. I'm pretty sure the man was okay with the idea! and if not... Oops :p

well, i'm pretty sure this cartoon is a trade mark, and that the original creator of PPG suied them for taking his show, thats probably why it doesn't come on tv anymore

@bburde2 Then the Japanese would've just asked permission to dub the actual cartoon. If anything, I think they WANTED to make the anime like so. I mean, who DOESN'T like random moments and transformations? :O.

Also, this anime doesn't come on TV anymore because

1) The English Dub failed so horribly that they had to stop production. (Correct if wrong, but I'm fairly sure that's it)

2) This anime was broadcasted at around 2006, and had an ending, so why would it still broadcast, unless for rerun?

If you think that's weird... they actually dubbed Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers in Japanese!!! It's kinda weird how Saban took footage of Zyuranger in order to make Power Rangers, then dub it in Japanese and show it back there, even to the point where Bandora's actress redubs her lines for Bandora's american counterpart Rita Repulsa.
