LOL! Yes please share it on Facebook! Or anywhere for that matter. The more it gets out there the better. Thank you for your kind words and support! I really should give a shout out to the team of professionals who helped me make it. I'm grateful for their generosity and talent.
LOL! I want to do a Black Jewish Lesbian Vampire story, maybe she's in a wheelchair too? How many social and economic marginalizations could we pile into a character? I bet she'd have a hard time getting a job... That could be very funny!
Thank you! James is a smart and talented writer. It was a fantastic challenge to direct and perform. I was so nervous about it but I'm pleased with how it turned out. I'm so ready to make the next one!!!
WOW! Great short film! I worked for "the company" for decades. However, the benefits just weren't enough to keep my interest. Unfortunately, I lost most of my company benefits, including the insurance, job security and my social status. Lost favor with some of my closer co-workers as well, but I did keep the company car, the kids and the dog! :)
LOL! I was laid off not too long ago. Lost my Motion Picture Health insurance AND my iPhone! Bastards! I'm shit out of luck with the health insurance, I can't get ANY since I have "pre-existing conditions" but I got a new iPhone!
I thoroughly enjoyed this short. I think the script well was written and quite on target. I love the fact that he uses the word "choice" because that's what so many "straight" people say. It's a great sales pitch that's definately humorous! I can't think of anything negative to say about it or any constructive cristicism.
I - a lesbian - find this very well constructed. Whether this is meant to be homophobic or otherwise film is regardless. I think it tells a factual story and from the eyes of the inferior 'community' such a i, believe it to hit on a few 'home truths'.
It is true that one cannot live life for more than a day (except for a few areas in Chelsea - lol) without feeling the restraints of being a LGBT and i appreciate the softer comedic look upon it.
I'm glad our sense of humor isn't lost. A Hollywood executive posed a question that made me realize that despite efforts to create a life that was not weighed down by heterosexist construct, our generation will always have to face this type of discrimination. Hopefully future generations will not. Academic institutions around the country are using the film as an example of how subtle discrimination can be.
An original, modern take on society and culture - thoroughly enjoyable! I thought the script was excellent and the acting - especially from the 'Straight' guy - was very good. The film reminded me a little of Bob Gale's Interstate 60 - not in theme, but in the way both films play on a reality that is tinged with fantasy or otherworldliness. Also, the shot just before he says 'who would you tell' and we see the suited man and woman in the background, is really well-staged and photographed.
funny.

This is good and true, startingly so. It's so scary to be queer and always be haunted by how much easier it would be just being straight.

Thank you! Props to James Hoban for coming up with a fantastic concept. We developed the script together. I appreciate your thoughts!
