I can agree that the mages aren't specialized for 1v1 against rogues like korean mages are, yet, I'm more than sure these are the best he could find in the U.S, or if anything, on his server. And 3.0 Shadowdance facemelted mages, as you can see. Them getting rushed by Neilyo with prep makes it seem pretty unfair to call them bad mages.

X rogue gets opener, y rogue trinkets > gouge > vanish > cheapshot > dpsdpsdps > ks he kidneys you hopefully get a blind he doesnt vanish if x rogue vanishes it he wins, if y rogue gets his blind off he is winner, if blind is applied then he wins... but now its rng because it can be resisted gouge is easily dodged etc.

You're oversimplifying a rogue fight.

There are much more factors coming into play then your situation, such as evasion, Fan of knives, vanish breaks, gouge dodges, etc...the fact of the matter is the rogue who gets opener gets the advantage of the entire fight by not having to blow trinket first. I could say X rogue opens, and right as y rogue trinkets he gouges, wasting the trinket, or perhaps blinds right as y rogue blinds. That huge advantage by having the opener almost always wins.
