  • why the hell can't he say that stuff?, they work for us , we don't work for them. the politicians do nothing bur bullshit for a living, some are shoveling the shit i want to hear, some are shoveling the shit you want to hear, but if you want us to pretend we don't know there shit shovelers, your on drugs.

  • "In NYC It'll take me 15 min to get a sub machine gun from some paroled crack dealer". Aight Ted, dat was a low blow to my city brothers and it'll take U much longer than 15 min to get a gun in NYC. Jus like it'll take me much longer than 15 min to get a high caliber rifle in da back woods of GA from some paroled Meth dealer.

  • Uncle Ted is a cool dude..... u gotta luv da man! "Ur playn da idiots advocate here", LOL... dats some funny shit! As a luvr of city life, hip hop and most things related.... i must say Ted Nugent is my guy! Hey Ted.... i'll help u fight anyone who is tryna take away our gun rights. I gotta have mine!

  • lol "kiss my ass!" lol... GO TED!

  • Now if we could just get Ted to see the merits of the liberty argument for drugs.

  • UNCLE TEDDY FOR PRESIDENT

  • Nugent is waaaaaaaaaay off base here.

The fact that crime goes down has nothing to do with my right to have a gun. My right to have a gun is my right to have a gun. If people who aren't me want to kill each other more often when they have guns how would that mean I have no right to defend myself? It would only further demonstrate their character & the need for self defense.

  • i wouldnt want to shoot anyone dead, even if it was someone that broke into my home, and I don't know why anyone would.

  • @shongage Well let's see, you have no excuse for your position, ...what to do ...what to do...

    I've got it!

You could smart off like a faggot about wanting to shoot somebody.

That'll divert attention from the issue, back handedly accuse the other side of wanting to shoot somebody AND prove that you have arrested emotional maturity.

  • @MrShoeguy Sorry, I dont get what you're trying to say. A gun is designed to do a certain thing. If you own a gun, obviously it's to use it to do that thing, no?

  • @shongage nah I wouldn't want to shoot anyone either but how are you gonna get them out of your house? Ask them to leave? Have fun not defending yourself.

  • HOW ARE ALL THESE CRIMINALS IN ENGLAND GAINING ACCESS TO FIREARMS WE MADE THEM ILLEGAL

DO WE HAVE TO BAN GUN TWICE? MAYBE THE POLICE ARE GIVING THEM GUNS IF WE TAKE GUNS AWAY FROM THE POLICE THEN THE CRIMINALS WONT FEEL THREATENED ANYMORE AND WILL STOP USING GUNS AS WELL YES I SAY THATS THE TICKET OLD CHAP!!!

  • Near the end Ted makes his fact based argument and Pierce immediately returns to the argument Ted just demolished. Like just then, he just stopped talking and what he said negates what you're about to say Pierce. Did you not listen to what he was saying... at all. Hellooooo

  • The crazy people need to be cared for humanely, not on the streets where they do tremendous harm wether they can get firearms or not. If they aren't on the streets they can't get guns.

  • nugent is so smart and not just smart but right. i believe it was isoroku yamamato who possibly said "i would never invade the united states. there would be a gun behind every blade of grass."

  • piers morgan is a fucking homo

  • Libs are the ONLY ones that want ONLY the government to have access to guns - IDIOTS!!!

  • its along the same line as "locks only keep honest people honest" as in when you outlaw guns only outlaws will have them. i dont know about you but i would much rather live in a state where me and my entire family are armed than in a state where i was not able to defend my family against the unthinkable. Would you rather live in this world: "oh hey bad guy do you mind waiting 10 minutes for the cops to get here before you rape my wife?" or "oh hey shit head...BOOM!" problem solved. i thought so.

  • MEMO to Piers: Mr. Morgan why weren't you defending President Bush when he was disrespected by the left? Called : satan, hitler, a nazi, a cowboy, i don't recall you saying those people should respect the President of the US between 2000-2008..... LIberals always want respect for their officials but never step in front of their own who are being disrespectful. #hypocrisy.

  • If criminal wants a gun, they will find a way to obtain one. If laws made to obtain firearms were more stringent, it would not stop that criminal from obtaining a gun. All it would do it limit the law abiding citizen the ability to protect themselves. Piers is an idiot.

  • Nugent has it wrong on drug laws. One word, my friend, Portugal.

  • I love that guy....

  • Nugent's a right bastard!! But he is right.

Except on drugs. He's wrong about that, and he needs to look at those statistics.

Gabb Giffords was shot in Gun-Free zone.

  • Dead on. Period. Done.

  • 'I understand'...Piers is such a douche...

  • i love how this british tv cunt can have facts told to him over and over from different sources yet still spout his stupid beliefs even though they were proven false. facts don't lie. who cares if you're beliefs give you a fuzzy feeling, you are fucking wrong. simple. christ...

  • Mr Morgan Cain kill Able with a rock so Mr Morgan should we ban rocks

  • I agree with the second amendment, but Piers owned him on the marijuana black market argument which is the exact same argument he used to support his claims.

LEGALIZE IT! YOU'RE FEEDING THE BLACK MARKET BY KEEPING IT ILLEGAL.

AND WASTING A HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY LOCKING UP POTHEADS.

  • Ted is the Man!!! Highly respect this Man !! Piers has no idea what Castle Doctrine is... Protect your home and your family first and foremost!! Ted Rocks !!

  • This is the truth! All the democrats can suck it!

  • Damn, I was agreeing with him on guns, and then he had to go and hypocrite out on drugs.

  • For my senior project I conducted research about areas with and without a high number of conceal carry permits, and the facts that I found were the exact facts given by the FBI. Crime rates are lower, violent crimes happen less often, and there are fewer incarcerations. Piers is a dumbass Liberal, who, just like all other people who think the way he does, has zero evidence to back their idiotic opinions.

  • morgan is a broking tool.

  • @ 1:17.... Apparently Piers wants to suck on the Nuge's machine gun.....

  • Why did he ask if he would be OK with gay children as if it's something bad if he wasn't?

  • Man, it's amazing to agree with people you never though you would. Nugent is not my cup of tea but i agree with him on the gun issue. I'm a vegetarian!!!!! he kills critters for fun! but i agree with his stance on guns.

  • @kliff215 That's funny, I'm exactly in that position myself... short of being a vegetarian. He's a narcissistic bastard and he's not my cup tea either, but I'm for the 2nd Amendment... and I could care less about guns, but would fight right beside Nugent to protect it. Call me crazy. Good comment.

  • @splurging247 how is that crazy? do you think there is one type of person out there that has one set of beliefs? fucking hell, you are brainwashed... it shouldn't come as a surprise

  • @splurging247 the difference between us and ted and his type is he gets a hard on when he holds a gun and kills innocent critters. guns to stop the human sociopaths is totally normal.

  • @splurging247 i'd call u sane.

  • @kliff215 Hunting is not killing animals for fun, if that's what you are talking about. It's a culture, heritage, and a way of life. But I appreciate you're pro-gun stance.

  • @AllagashLegend getting up when it's still dark out and cold and enjoying shooting a beautiful creature with an arrow or gun and watching the life ebb out of it when you can walk into a grocery store and buy Tofurky makes no sense. I'm actually being serious about the Tofurky line. No reason to kill mammals anymore. evolve, Ted.

  • @kliff215 You couldn't possibly be anymore wrong. What you just said makes no sense. God put every creature on this planet to live life, and dying is part of life. Let me teach you, since you are obviously ill informed, that every animal I have ever killed, had the fastest and easiest death it ever could have had. I drop 'em in their tracks. They never feel a thing. And without hunting, entire ecosystems would go off balance, and so many other reasons that wont fit in this comment.

  • @AllagashLegend hey, i agree that hunting can be less cruel than factory farms but ecosysystems rely on humans to keep their balance ZERO %! We have wiped out most of the natural predators that keep the ecosystem balanced & healthy while human hunters like yourself hunts down the largest, strongest of the herds and makes the system weaker and sicker. nice try.

  • @kliff215 Honestly... I'm trying to remain polite, but you seriously don't know too much about what you're talking about. Humans have THE LARGEST impact on the environment. Not so much hunters as civilization. If legal hunting put entire species in danger, I would not hunt those species. As human population grows there is more pollution and habitat destruction which weakens and wipes out ecosystems. Unfortunately, it seems that any hunters you have interacted with before now...(cont.)

  • @kliff215 (continued)... have been unethical and have given you a bad view of all hunters. With the right wildlife management, the majority of hunters, trappers, and anglers, like myself, help out ecosystems more than anything else. For example, I only shoot older bucks, three years and up. That gives them plenty of time to reproduce and live. Taking down the elders also decreases the risk of disease spreading in the herd. I'll be happy to continue, if you still believe hunters are bad

  • @AllagashLegend i agree. humans do have an impact on our natural world. a very negative impact. thanks to organized religion, we seem to think it's all here for us. We are the only species that adds nothing to the web of life. we are given so much and we choose to abuse it and over use it.

  • @AllagashLegend,,if you don't think humans have done more to unbalance nature than anything, you are dishonest. not all hunters are bad and not all hunters are good. but most hunters are not aiming for the small, sick elk or deer. they brag when they bag the big one with the antlers so they can put its head over the fireplace. is that not true?

  • @kliff215 I do think humans are the main cause of most unbalanced ecosystems though. The hunters that you consider bad are unethical poachers. They give the rest of us a bad reputation. I understand where you're coming from, but you are misinformed. We do tend to go after larger animals, but the larger ones are the older ones. When we hunt, we go for a kill that we are able to use. A hunter will hardly ever come across a sick deer, because nature will have already taken it's course.

  • @kliff215 I'm not complaining about you're vegetarian life style, and I don't go around trying to band the killing of innocent beans and carrots. So don't complain about the way I live and go telling me that I make no sense because I do what needs to be done.

  • @AllagashLegend Ban* not band, my bad. Tired after a long day of what you'd probably call savagely ripping fish from beneath the ice and slaying them.

  • @AllagashLegend how could you complain about my vegetarian lifestyle? it's helping our species survive. eating cows, chickens, turkeys, etc is poisoning our environment in this day and age. the less you eat and the lower on the food chain you eat, the less damage you do to our environment. but hey, i have plenty of family & friends who hunt & fish. i have no friends or family members who are vegetarians. go figure!

  • @kliff215 I'm not complaining. If that's what floats you're boat, go for it! Large scale factory farming is damaging our environment. If I were in charge of the world, I'd bring the early 1800's lifestyle back, where everything was locally grown on small farms or you grew/killed it yourself. I've got nothing against you for you're ways, I just wanted to make sure you know hunting isn't killing just for fun. Most of the time I get proven how much smarter animals are than I am! Ha Ha

  • @kliff215 I'm loving yours and splurging's reactions to this. Thomas Jefferson said, "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

  • 80 - 78 = 2........ WOW! more die from back yard swimming pool drownings per year.

  • Does the big bad hunter ever talk about his life and how he slept with minors? No, dont think so............

  • @lemonadehere and that he dodged the draft to fight in the Vietnam war.

  • At 4:02, Ted Nugent changes the Interview around on the other guy! LOL

  • dont fuck with uncle ted he will always win

  • Idiots like Piers Morgan are the reason why Brits can't own guns!!! Piers go back to Britain to high crime rate !!

  • Ted nugent talks both common sense and complete nonsense at the same time.

  • TED NUGENT SUCKS DEER DICK!

  • @lemonadehere hmmmm, just like the idiot that posted this idiotic comment, right lemonadehere? are you talking from some kind of experience?

  • @todd76705 No, I prefer your mother

  • @lemonadehere just the type of comment i would expect from a little boy. did your mommy have to help you with that extremely "witty"comment? why don't you go back to your mommy and leave the computers to the grown up, little boy. then, after you've grown up, maybe you can come up with a better reply than that.

  • @todd76705 I'm tired of trying to reason with you fucks... You never had to go through the healthcare system trying to decide between chemo or bankrupting your family. I used to debate everyone on here about healthcare and how it is needed in this country for all, rich and poor. No one could hang, you just follow your shepherds like Nugecunt... I'm done with you... Fuck You!

  • @lemonadehere does your mommy know you use such foul language, little boy? if i recall, this clip wasn't about socialized healthcare, it was about gun rights and the second amendment. you should have your mommy explain the difference to you. also, i hope your mommy doesn't read your post, she would wash your mouth out with soap.

it's whiny little liberals, such as yourself that can't stand to be confronted with facts which nugent eloquently stated.

  • @todd76705 You dont have a clue ASSHOLE..It dosent matter to your kind, if its gun rights, healthcare, abortion you will tow the the right wing line. You dont have a mind of your own. Your only worry is that your dish dosent go out in the middle of NASCAR. Keep sucking the dicks of Beck and Hannity... Maybe one day you will suck dick better than your mother.... naw, never happen....

  • @lemonadehere You hammered that one... good comment. By the way, his mom's right here and he's got a ways to go catch up with her. I shaved her back... so he may not recognize her tomorrow. Lucky guy.

  • @splurging247 OH YES!, Hey, does she still swallow?

  • @lemonadehere Like a drunk pelican...

  • @lemonadehere i know the healthcare law is a hindrance to small business, premiums have continued to rise and more and more businesses like my own have opted to pay the $5,000 one time fine rather than pay $10,000 per employee every year that obamacare calls for. small business can't afford obamacare. i have 10 employees and under obamacare that would cost me $100,000 every year and i can't afford that. grow up and stop using filthy language, please.

  • @todd76705

First, you are wrong on the numbers, plus, the law has not gone into effect yet. But lets say for argument sake you are right, ( you arnt ). Its just like the right wing to stand up for business and and not the poor and uninsured. I have worked my whole life, ( 40 years ) and saved my money, put 2 kids through college. Notre Dame, and Cornell. And to loose everything I have because My wife comes down with cancer and I have been kicked off by my provider.

  • @lemonadehere I am not looking for a handout, I will pay for my insurance. All I want is for it to be fair, afordable, and not be denied coverage. Thats all, nothing else. The right lies, hospitals DO refuse people on ability to pay. I been there. You CAN get help, but you must be indigent, no money and sell everything first, Been there...Yes maybe one day the employer may pay more, but I hope you never walk in my shoes..But if you do, you will welcome "obamacare" ..Good Luck

  • @lemonadehere i'm not wrong on my numbers. take a look at these two videos if you aren't afraid of some facts about obamacare

Small Business Owner Fears Obamacare's Impact on Jobs and Economy this is a video on youtube about a guy that owns 10 or 12 IHOP restaurants that says the same thing i did about obama care. copy & paste the title in youtube search bar.

Obamacare's Impact on Doctors youtube video about obamacare & doctors. copy & paste title in youtube search bar.

  • @lemonadehere the two videos explain why obamacare is a real bad idea. the individual mandate that says individuals must have health insurance has been found unconstitutional by two different circuit court judges and now is in the supreme court for a ruling in the spring. i don't want to be forced to buy something. if the individual mandate is ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court, that'll kill obamacare because the mandate is what will fund obamacare.

  • At 6:07ish Ted doesn't answer the question. He goes back to crime statistics. If weed wasn't illegal. People wouldn't be shooting each other over territory. Mmm! Less gun crime. As Piers says, The illegality makes it valuable. I understand the concept Ted is pushing. People reconsider things if there is a possibility of getting shot. Mental Health Services is where the money needs to go. Statistics show educated, mentally healthy people commit less crimes.

  • @Amosis55 It's a ridiculous question. You can't compare the legality of gun ownership to the illegality of mind altering substances. That's like comparing apples to Buicks.

  • You can keep telling him Ted but he does not want to hear it, Liberals do not like Facts!

  • Funny part about this Man is he is right!

  • Comment removed

  • You saw what happened in Norway. One man with a rifle, was able to kill close to 100 people. Because there wasn't a fire arm for miles. One gun makes a man a god. If you have an armed public, no way would Brevik have been able to kill that many people.

  • @StonewallJackson26 It's also no coincidence that the worst mass shooting in the history of Norway was committed by a freemason...

  • @mookixox So what? The guy was a an asshole Free Mason then. They should execute him for what he did to those kids.

  • @StonewallJackson26 So maybe retards like you should start asking what the fuck Freemasons really believe in...Herrpa Derrpa Doo!

  • @mookixox What the fuck does any of this have to do with gun rights? Ok, he was a Free Mason and a Neo Nazi who killed because he was upset with mass immigration.

But what the fuck does this have to do with the 2nd Amendment?

If it weren't for European Socialism, and if Europe would bend on their gun restrictions a bit, Brevik would have been killed, before he could have killed so many.

  • @mookixox

Being a Freemason has absolutel nothing to do with murder.

  • @aqx770 Then you haven't researched the freemasons...the very first OATH that you take to the brotherhood is to be have your throat cut if you divulge the secrets...You people know NOTHING!

  • @mookixox

No Mason walks into a lodge or into an initian without knowing the rules. It is an ancient society which at every level thorughout it's long history - first being made public in England in 1717, is dedicated to right, not wrong, to good, not evil, to protecting the weak, the widow and the orphan. That one person, who may or may not have been a Mason commits an act of evil does in no way reflect upon the brotherhood. Man has free will. Sometimes he exercised that free will poorly.

  • @aqx770 Christians outnumber Freemasons by at least 25 to 1...Name me a single Christian who went on a shooting spree killing over a dozen people in the past 100 years? When I say this cult is evil, I mean it...And you are probably unaware of the reality that the 'LIGHT' you freemasons are chasing after is the light of Lucifer. How many years have you been a mason?

  • @mookixox

I have no idea who you have been listening to or what you have read but from your posts let me assure you, through probably in vain, that you have been mislead. How long have I been a mason you ask, my family have been masons since before founding of this country

  • Comment removed

  • Outlawing guns will not prevent criminals from getting fire arms. Gun running, Black Market.... it wouldn't be hard.

  • And if someone breaks into my house, and it's between me or them, it's gonna be them

  • Texas, Arizona and New Mexico have some of the lowest burglary rates in America. I wonder why that might be.

  • Killing another human being except in self defense has been against the law for centuries. No one has been able to stop it yet. It's no secret that England and the UN want a global ban on civilians owning any firearm. The police can't protect us, they can only write the report after the crime has been committed. Would you rather they report a homicide after your family is killed or report an intruder was shot after breaking in to your home. Think about it.

  • Sure 80 people die a day in the US by gunshots.. too bad only about 30 of those are homicides. Not trying to be-little the amount. But it's taken out of context when you don't tell the full story. Almost 60% of those are suicides, taking away a gun doesn't stop a suicide, which is proven by statistics around the world. Where there's a mean, there's a way. Everywhere guns have been restricted or banned other methods simply rise.

  • @yanni318

Nuget says that according to FBI stats, of those 80 a day, 78 were commited by criminals who were let loose by the system.

  • Thank God that 18 year old mother in Oklahoma had a gun and stopped the druggy from killing her or her child. Ted's the man!

  • Love you Uncle Ted!

  • Piers should just kill himself

  • Piers, if you won't respect America, it's Constitution, nor our right to bear arms...get the hell out and go back home.

  • KISS MY ASS!!! love it

  • @zooders Ya gotta love Deadly Tedly!!

  • Who REALLY runs our world? search "israel Did 911" and search "ZionCrimeFactory" for proof.

"US Rep. McKinney has accused the pro-Israel Lobby in America (AIPAC, ADL, etc) for ruining her political career. She refused to sign the pro-Israel pledge from Congress and took a pro-Palestinian stance. Because of this, she said “war was declared” on her by them. In 2009 she told TIU's Ognir that “more than 99% of Congress work for Zionist-Israeli interests.”

    w(dot)zioncrimefactory com/jew-world-order

  • Our guns keep our government not like the UK's

  • I think ted won

  • I cannot begin to describe what a low, smug, irritating thick headed cunt Piers Morgan is he is ill informed and a pathetic waste of salt. single handedly caused a bounty to be put on british troops in iraq.

  • Piers Morgan will be cancelled by July 2012. He is horrible and is so uniformed with every guest. He asked Colin Powell 3 three times what "going to the mattress" meant? !!! Really? My ten year old nephew knows about the Godfather and this limey doesnt. Next.

  • Funny how the Dixie Chicks can bash Bush but Ted bashes Obama and the whole left-wing driven media has a hissy. I just love the hypocrisy!

  • I myself have a gun and believe in the 2nd amendment!! I want TED NUGENT for PRESEDENT!!!

  • @SuperGonzo64

I'd support Deadly Tedly for Pres. in a New York minute!

  • A Cop.. haha.. in Texas to boot!!! Teds lost his mind!..

  • 7:02 That's weird! I love you Uncle Ted!

  • Comment removed

  • Did that dude really just say "as much as i'd love to such on your machine gun".........

  • @roborapter Ya know what? I THINK HE DID SAY THAT!!

  • Most gun deaths are from people that take there own life with them.

  • Ted can't really have a conversation without being rascist & angry. I guess assholes never take days off

  • @AnthonydWalsh what are you talking about? ted is assertive not mad dont you know the difference or were you born yesterday. Where is the racism? and your justification. There is none. Your talking out your ass.

  • @AnthonydWalsh Wow what kind of blatant show of ignorance is that to call Ted racist? Is he racist because he believes that one should have to work for what the get? OR Is he racist because he believes that welfare brats who have 12 kids and no job DO NOT deserve a handout? Sounds to me like you're living in a different world. Time to come back to REALity my friend.

  • On April 19, 1775, an English attempt to take away guns from the American people sparked a successful revolution. Congress, thats a hint.

  • Man CNN is nothing but hippy nazi douches

  • Im really enjoying ted kicking this guys ass all over this interview, this guy took over for larry king? really? that guy could interview

  • he has got attitude

  • Guns kill, like spoons make people fat! LOL If every one had a gun, less people die! It's a fact!!!

    This english guy is deranged!

  • Nugent is a bona fide wacko who is a friggin legend in his own mind.Prozac would be his best friend& possibly a Lobotomy. That being said, until we get the dealing of Arms outta the hands of the da!n Govt&al it's bought&paid for Lackeys,I vote to keep my guns.Cause it sure as H3ll ain't the muggers I feel the need to defend myself&Family from!As the sayin' goes,it's the Govt.Stupid!!

  • Piers Morgan is a complete idiot. He doesn't have a brain in his head if he thinks fucking CRIMINALS will no longer get weapons. Go back to fucking BRITAIN where people AREN'T allowed to have guns. Where the crime rate is SO FUCKING HIGH.

  • @pillionaire07 Morgan i bet is far,far better educated than you, please prove me wrong.

Ted isnt very intelligent is he?He's been indoctrinated by right-wing idelogy & is very dramatic and overbearing. Why didn't he join the Army or Navy in the early 90's to fight in Iraq? Y'know, the country who the US were selling weapons to, in order to fight Iran? Why did he not go to Vietnam, or Iraq in the 90's?

You're a fascist by syaing go back to Britain, free speech is available in the US

  • @AnthonydWalsh because dumbass he would of been close to 43 years of age and you cant join the Army or Navy beyond 36. Again your talking out your arss

  • @AnthonydWalsh Piers Morgan doesn't have the common sense of a muffin if he thinks taking the guns away from American people will do any good. You just can't stand it because Piers Morgan (whats he famous for again??) can't admit hes wrong, and Nugent OWNS UP to being young and ignorant at one time. Which is something some people never grow out of I see.

  • @pillionaire07 - Exactly. As knife-crime in Britain proves. And disarmed citizens in South Africa who are now at the mercy of gangs and crime syndicates.

  • Ted nugent is a racist piece of redneck shit that needs his ass beat down

  • @RileyTennessee lol and I guess mr. Tennessee here is gonna do that?

  • @RileyTennessee Hahaha if you hate him that much why even watch the video?

  • @RileyTennessee and because you disagree with him he should be beat??? wtf lol this makes you a better person than him i suppose. your parents should be proud of you and your logic lmao what a joke!!!!

  • Comparing lawlessness in Mexico & Britain is nearly as crazy as comparing Iceland & Iraq. Britain has never had to cope with Mexico's problems of dealing with very large, ruthless organised crime syndicates, institutional corruption & widespread poverty. You obviously agree with Ted & believe that the lions share of gun violence in the U.S, is down to too many rampaging criminals roaming free - but that doesn't hold water !!! We probably have just as many criminals here in the U.K..........

  • Make em suck it Ted!!!!

  • Uncle Ted on the money as usual!

  • When will stoogent get real and admit that guns are the cause of 100% of all gun related deaths

  • @nosherz I can tell you this. If I, as a man, have decided that I'm going to kill someone or something. Whether I have my 270 handy or not...Won't make a difference. What people fail to realize is that virtually EVERYTHING in your home and around you can be a deadly weapon when fashioned or wielded properly. YOURSELF included. No one EVER talks about these people doing the killing and says. We need to get THEM off the streets. Because I know 1,000's of gun owners and NONE of them would kill men!

  • @drummin65turbo In my personal view, widespread acceptance of guns in society, help make ordinary people more distrustful, wary of strangers and potentially more irrational in stressful situations, than they really need to be. How else do you explain the fact the U.S has by far the highest ratio of gun related homicides in the "civilized" world ? Are less restrictive laws allowing more plastic tough guys with an attitude & other assorted goofball flakes to carry guns in public, the answer ??

  • @nosherz To turn that around, why do we see that in places where there are high levels of gun restriction, such as California, there are also high levels of gun crime? Mexico has sterner gun laws than Britain, yet more violence. Why is that? The reason for the high level of gun violence is not the presence of guns, but the preponderance of criminals.

  • @hunterkiller232134 .......yet they don't take advantage of the fact most of us are unarmed & choose to go around shooting people with illegally obtained guns. I'm not saying it's never happened, it's just very rare. Face the facts, your criminals are more ruthless because of the lack of an adequate safety net, hence they don't eat if they can't get a job. Then they face getting shot if they are not suitably armed and able to get the jump on their victim - a vicious circle.

  • @hunterkiller232134 The solution to reversing the trend of rising gun crime is to restrict the legal use of guns to defending your property only. Anyone caught carrying a firearm in public should be prosecuted using the full force of the law - it's the only way.

  • @nosherz That doesn't make a lot of sense, considering that areas of the US with high rates of concealed carry see less crime in general, and areas with restricted carry have higher rates of crime. New Hampshire, Vermont and Alaska allow you to carry concealed without a permit, and those are some of the safest states in the country. California has very strict gun laws and restricts concealed carry with tons of violence. It's not so simple as you suggest, obviously.

  • @hunterkiller232134 Again, I think you're making an unfair geographical comparison, as the population of L.A on it's own is probably as large as the other 3 states you mention, combined. To extend your thinking (and Ted's) further, I'm assuming your preferred solution would be to allow everyone without a criminal record, or history of mental illness, throughout the U.S, the option of unrestricted concealed (or open) carry if they so choose ???

  • @nosherz Certainly they have a large gap in population, but if guns are the problem then why does California have more crime with fewer guns? To use a different example, why does my state have three times the population of Washington D.C. and only 2,000 more reported violent crimes? And, believe it or not, that is how it works in most of the US. Most US states cannot legally deny you a concealed carry permit so long as you meet the requirements, and a few don't require a permit at all.

  • @hunterkiller232134 Why does everyone always compare where they live, set against Washington DC ? Does your state really have areas with similar population density, social & economic problems to D.C ? From what I've read & I might be mistaken - it seems D.C would be an even more dangerous location to try and police, if they never attempted to put some strict gun controls in place, so who's right & wrong ? One things for sure, 30,000 fatalities a year prove something's not working.

  • @nosherz I'm glad you picked up on the fact that socio-economic status is far more influential on the rate of gun violence than the number of guns. That's exactly what I was getting at. That's also why Mexico is one of the worst places ever, and the UK is not. That said, 30,000 deaths a year is a drop in the bucket compared to 80 million gun owners and 300 million guns. Russia has less than that and a comparable rate of violence.

  • @nosherz people are

  • if what Nugent was saying wasn't so scary/ignorant he'd be hilarious/stupid

  • Wow...I'm amazed at some of the comments in here. :sigh:

  • Haha Morgan is playing the idiot's advocate!

  • Hey Piers kiss his ass!!!! lol!!!!

  • Ted just about takes the words out of my mouth. In area's where people have concealed guns, any suspect will know that the chances of getting shot is even greater than in a gun free zone. If guns were illegal to own in america, it may stop ordinary citizens to stop buying guns, but not the suspects. Suspects still believe its ok to get a gun or will still try to get one because they are criminals anyway. If the average american citizen can not own arms to defend their LIVES (human right) theydie

  • god its so sad, i know its corny but guns dont kill people, people kill people. im not a killer but i can safely guess that if i wanted to murder some1 and i couldnt get a gun i would use a bat or run them over etc. i really like ted and i wish so much he wasnt involved with the tea party but still give him much respect.

  • do work ted
