Nice fish guys,when it comes to catching jewies here in south aus the port river produces some nice fice up to 100 plus pound although 70 is my biggest the other night casting soft plastics for bream i hooked and landed a 22 pounder on 6pound braid what a fuckn buzz that was.

Gulp 7" Jerk Shads in Pink Shine colour with 1oz jig heads with a size 7 mustad hook. You really need to be in 20 to 50m of depth to make the most of this size lure. Smaller lures will work in shallower water. Best of luck

Mostly 30lb braid line, 30lb fluro leader, 1oz jigheads in 7/0 hook and Gulp 7" Jerk Shads. Reel is a Daiwa Certate 4000 and a Flueger Graphite Rod.

Was targeting Snapper, Kingies etc. Was just a lucky spot. Never produced again. Any Flueger or Shimano 7ft Graphite 6 to 10kg will do the trick.

Great effort boys some quality fish. 30 lb leader is not massive so you caught those fish fair and square. jewy's are one of those fish that really shine when you drag em onto your boat and really make your day. Again well done!
