I saw this movie in the theater and saw it 7 times. I will always love this movie more and more!!!!! :o) This is one of the BEST vampire movies ever made.

so i've been watching a lot of these videos for a half hour or so and i absolutely love them. was this a book, turned into a movie?

it's absoluetely beautiful, the way you fit the songs to the clips.

but i have a few questions i hope to have answered;

were they like, family friends, then he changed her and they grew to be lovers?

who is the woman in the green dress that dies with her?

who is the blonde man? (i don't think he's in thie particular video, but still)

This was a book, yes!

The little girl is Claudia, and she's an orphan that Louis (Brad Pitt) finds one night. Lestat (the blonde man) turns her into a vampire to keep him company. Lestat turned both Louis and Claudia into vampires. The woman in the green dress is Madeleine. Claudia finds her to be her companion after Louis decides to be with Armand (Antonio Banderas)... but then Armand kills them both, after becoming impatient with Louis for hesitating to leave Claudia.

Armand, technically. Lestat demanded Claudia's death, but wished to save Louis. It was the coven that really wanted both of them dead -- but then Armand saved Louis for himself. Madeleine was just kind of in the wrong place at the wrong time.

oh I see. I still have to read the book. I read Queen of the Damned and it was nothing like the movie, or rather the movie was nothing like the book.

i've read the book finally, but what i do realize is that armand wasn't truthful to louis about his part in the murder. he clearly was jealous of claudia but why should he wish her dead? it seems evil on his part. he only told louis he helped kill them both until later. did madeleine have to be eliminated so she wouln't tell?

I have to say. I've watched a lot of these Interview with the Vampire videos, and quite honestly this one is the best I've seen. It seems to capture the mood of the story in the tone of the song and everything. Very good work!

Okay i really never go thiss during the movie. She calls him Father but she keeps like flirting with him! Its weird.

Louis found her and fed on her. He was going to kill her, but her heart was too strong. So Lestat made her into a vampire to act as a 'child' so Louis could lapse out of his depressed state. Over the years, Claudia formed into this smart, charming woman inside of a five year olds body. So she and Louis have this sort of Lover-Lover, Daughter-Father relationship. It would be weird I suppose, if you never read the books and saw their relationship, but you get over it after a while ;]
