  • did anyone notice that the LMP braked at about the same point as the GT2 going down into turn 5?

  • @sabres685 Well, that is quite normal. As the GT2 cars have brakediscs made from steel and those from LMPs are made from carbonfibre, the relative decelerating speed is equal to the higher speed of the LMP on the straights. It is exactly the same on almost any sort of racing car, no matter it it is a GT, LMP or S2000 Touring car, the brakingpoint is almost the same everywhere, as the lower speed of slower cars is combined with less powerful braking systems :).

  • But everybody should still think about the fact, that even a GT2 car which gets "owned" by a LMP, is a damn fast racing car. Even the slowest GT2 cars, like the old Ferrari 360 or the Spyker C8 GT2R are hell of a lot quicker at a racetrack than a Bugatti veyron SuperSports or any other sort of roadcar.
