Remember sitting there, 8 or 9 and the start had me in in complete awe every time I played it! I saw it a lot too, I didn't have a memory card for a while! I used to get to the big city and then combine two mage mashers to make this double thing...I then went out and either died or lived. Restarted the game again then, it was just that amazing that I done it every time!

I've been playing this game for about 6 years, and I'm still on the second disc. But this is because of two reasons: one, I don't have my own copy of the game, the one I play is my aunts. My second reason is that I keep getting distracted by the first disc.

I always rename the characters the same things too. I've gotta play more though.

Love the video! My favorites are probably Stolen Eyes or whatever that was, The Place I'll Return to Someday, and Jestsers of the Moon ;)

I love FFIX. It combined heartfelt drama, varied adventure, beautiful design, and playful humor into a masterpiece, and the incredible music always gave the right feeling and sense of atmosphere to the game...

Personally, The Place I'll Return To Someday is stuck in my head as the theme song of folktales and legends, Vamo Alla Flamenco makes me want to dance to swordfighting, Stolen Eyes reminds me of love and peace, and Feel My Blade reminds me of using cool-looking SFX moves just for fun lol

Can anyone tell me how to make up videos like this? I'm not very good at doing anything on computers I have very little knowledge of this sort of thing. So do you need to download stuff, and/or some kind of movie maker programme?

@leftymu its not hard mate. what i did was use Windows Movie Maker (basic stuff) and then put the audio files all in with image files. Then i just cut up the relevent parts and put them together with a smooth cross fade

Its not like square is far from a possible remake atm... they have been remaking them in order and I believe they are on 6 now (If they remake 7 I have faith they wont fuck it up seeing they know the fanbase for 7 is huge and is deeply rooted)

@Spiketheflame I find that with these games the graphics are part of the charm, as they remind you of how you first felt playing them all those years ago. In the case of 9 especially, I think the graphics are just fine, the cartoony art doesnt need updating, it just wouldnt be the same!
