@kenthed45 Yeah, I noticed that too. In most of the cutscenes they are holding Shock Rifles(and one with an Enforcer in the intro), but in this one they are unarmed and running like sissies. Did they forget about their weapons caches? Also, where the hell are their vehicles(the Goliath, the Cicada, the Levi and all that shit)? They made a treaty with Axon, and they have a whole fleet, so where the hell are they? No turret guns either? No wonder they lost.

Yes but you forgot alot of the technology that was developed in the unreal world was made for a spectator sport. Then some of that then blended into the current military technology.

Just because you can have the latest hovering vehicle, who's to say the humans don't prefer an old vehicle that can be salvaged to be used as an armoured hell bender? Since they have always used this technology.

Get it. The developer is Epic Games and everything they make is great. Unreal tournement is their baby franchise too. I played this on PC and it still had the same magic. If you like shooter games this is for you.

It's called Unreal Tournament 3, but this game does not feature the Liandri Tournament. The story takes place in "the real world" outside the tournament. They couldn't call the game Unreal 3 because it wouldn't be right, so they just stick with Unreal Tournament.

Actually what I'm disappointed about in GoW was that few of the cutscenes were pre-rendered. (The one where they deploy the resonator and get outside and the ending.) I found it out when I got Gears of War working on my new PC.

Yes, I noticed that too. The cutscene where RAAM killed Kim and delta squad rendezous with alpha. That was rendered. When they deployed the resonator indeed, you're right and the ending. All the important cutscenes are rendered to better convey the plot and mood. That's all. No biggy right?
