  • american humor someone would have beat that mouse with a shovel... or at least i would have i like jeff dunham!!!!

  • british aint so funny

  • @epicfailmusician

    Dom Joly @ The Idependent

Then, however, clips started to come in of a Frenchman called Remi Gaillard who has also been stealing a lot of my original ideas and recreating them to popular internet acclaim! He even had a go at my favourite Trigger Happy sketch ever – the snail crossing the road. Some of Gaillard's sketches are original and very funny, so I have slightly less beef with him. But is seems that our Continental cousins are slightly lacking in original comedy output

  • I fucking love the rat reading a magazine!

  • I'm really laughing at that camouflage gag at the end. Reminds me of the army days :D

  • That is just cruel!, "this is a no stopping zone???" i go through that every day!, but i did piss myself!.

  • i liked it, made me lol :D keep m coming

  • I like british humour, but I like american as well especially the older sitcoms and comedians. Modern american sitcoms are not funny to me.

  • this guy is trying to do what remi dose !! check out this channel on ''nqtv'' on youtube

  • Ugh... seriously. British people are boring. There's no escaping it. Just accept it, Britain, you're just not funny or interesting. Not even accidentally.

  • @rtypex if you are too stupid to understand the simplicity of it, dont fucking watch it, you just stick to 2 and a half men and family guy .... The two most overrated shows on tv.

  • @rtypex Pfft!, typical american, you have obviously never seen any monty python!, we invented intelligent humour!, you yanks invented the moronic fart joke!.

  • @rtypex Good. We won't be seeing you around any more Brit comedy sites then. Goodbye for ever.

  • The bus stop part is funny. Those 2 woman left there confused and shocked hahahaha

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • This is a fucking terrible shit :) shit shit again shit :) STUPID HuMoR

  • some aren't really meant to be laughed about I think, they are more like WTF!!! moments. I dont laugh about them now, i smile at most, but I really would LMAO when that would happen to me in real life :P

  • I LOVE HUMOR ,no matter where is it coming from!!!

  • did you notice that nobody was laughing ? what kind of sad jokes are these, british are sad people, and ignorant

  • that was AWESOME there is always the best stuff on channel 4

  • Also they have great taste in music.

  • they copy REMI GAILLARD

  • @Spartan307 fuh really? so Remi Gaillard pretty much invented pranks then. Or maybe did you just watch the first scene and went straight to the commenting cause if you seen something similar it must have been stolen?

  • 6:30 le mec va croire que le filc est raciste

  • Je trouve Remi Gaillard plus drole....

  • What song is at 3:37????

  • 4:14 pisses me off.

  • Fuck you, I'm American, and I appreciate all forms of entertainment. I love BBC; I watch it all the time! I like all cultures, so fuck off you racist shit! Fuck off back to your hole in Aussie land!

  • hahahah type in "Scaring My Dad so bad!!" i just found it its freaking hilarious

  • FAIL this is REMI GAILLARD INSPIRED AND HE IS FRENCH !!!!

  • @epicfailmusician Happy Trigger TV passait à la télévision en 2000-2001. Bien avant que Rémi soit vraiment connu. Certaines scène filmé en 1999. Je ne pense pas que personne a copier l'autre....

  • @epicfailmusician inspiration is good.

  • The BEST ones are 3:32, 4:15, 6:03, 6:14.

    Haha.

  • at 4:17 xD

  • Ya du Remi Gaillard dans tous ca ... Hum qui a inspiré qui ? je sais pas trop

  • @Frenchkisssss

    hey lol!

cette emison 2000 et Remi 1999

et Remi est plus drole! xD

  • im american. i love this show!!!

  • I'm American..but I have British in me...but I think British Humour is much funnier =3

  • lol... @ chainsaw murderer. XD

  • @woody0900

    well lol

they completely ripped the chainsaw idea from Remi!

Although Remi was first to do the chainsaw one...

Just search "Friday the 13th Remi Gaillard" on youtube

    now that's LOL!

  • Hey,

If anyone could please assist me with the song being played at 3:32

    thank you

    take care! :)

  • I HEARD BLUR.

  • Trigger Happy TV used to be on Comedy Central in the US. I loved watching that show.

  • I agree that American humor differs from European, but that doesn't mean Americans don't understand it. Why else would they broadcast British comedy shows over here?

  • @nilzxx IKR?

  • u guys arent fair. im American but i understand and love british humor and i spend most of my days watching bbc (although that may not have any credit). so this made me laugh extremely hard....strangely my parents dont like mine or british humor

  • @remmussirrah92 there is total stupid british humor too. Look at Benny Hill or Mr. Bean...but I love of course Dom Joly or Monty Python, the gods of british humor.

  • @remmussirrah92 of course there are Americans like you who love British humour, but rtypex did post a very nasty comment about us :-(

  • @remmussirrah92 have you ever watched any of the old British comedy like Porridge or Morecambe & Wise? i think you would like it :-)

  • What the song at 3:30?

  • Hey guys, what's the song at 0:56 ?

  • The bowling one is actually really funny.

american's can't understand this kind of comedy because it's not scripted. and everyone else finds scripted comedy a piece of shit, so thats where the 'debate' of comedy and national pride stems from. i think.

  • great stereotype asshat

  • Look at american comedy in comparison to british.

  • I'll contest one thing. I'm American working class, and I'm not the only one who no longer has a television...not only because it's a little cheaper, but because I'm not the only American who thinks that what "our" elite think is funny isn't what us peasants think is funny. TV and Newspapers are going down here because they deliver garbage instead of a decent product. "They" think we want scripted. "We" think the internet is better because it's an escape from what "They" think.

  • haha it cracks me up lol

  • That's not british. Remi Gaillard did that before, except that he is funny...

  • this is a total remi galliard knock off but atleast its in english.

  • Anybody knows the singer and the song played between 6:03 6:13.

    Love the dog with sweaters..

  • i sure will try the hitching get-up. if you just want rides from "those select few."

  • This is more like crappy french humor

  • I imagine that rat would be rather simple to capture. Something that big could not move very fast at all. And so I surmise that it is already disposed of, even before it appeared.

  • this video is very shiiiit

  • After the young ones, you guys suck...

  • pfff......0/20 just a fucking remake of Remi Gaillard our french funny man!!!

  • Oh sorry, Remi started doing funny things in 2002, and this show was making during 2000-2002, so... who's is fu*** remaker? :D

  • 1/20 this video

  • this is funkin terrible!!!!!!! where is mr. bean damit!!!!!!

  • funny, but i'll take benny hill any time.

  • this is copy scene for the french comic this name is remy gaillard look the video stupid english

  • trigger happy was made before remy gaillard did it. stupid frogs

  • very well !

    Thank you, Mr Remi GAILLARD!

  • Remi Gaillard is better!

  • dutch tenpin bowling jajaja klootscheeten

    =)

  • lmao

  • Yeah...That was what I was about to ask. anyone knows what is the name of the song on 3:40 ??

  • anyone know what that sound track at 3:50 is?

  • I searched the lyrics and found it to be "Boomtown Rats - Beat of the night" since it says : lost their bark what hitchcock plots were hatched that night behind the shuttered door when the curtain shook and the head beat down and he quietly was withdrawn and we moved in the beat beat of the night beat of the night beat of the night so i m...

  • Do the Brits use the words butthole, asshole, and urinehole?

  • 3:40 and 6:40 LMFAO

  • I love british humour ! :D

    Congrats from Belgium ;)

  • this is fucking fantastic i just can't understand why video like don't have atleast 10kk views

  • loving the stupid rat joke XD

  • perfect!!! I love british humor is very clever. any guy know wich is the track in 5:50? thanks

  • yeah, trigger happy tv made it to germany as well, so it seems that´s not the original british humour, ´cause i like it as well.. ;-)

  • WTF ?

    is this comedy ?

    are you guys serious ?

    Fuck that

  • let me guess, you like Jim Carrey and Police Academy and stuff like that :)

  • ;p looks the same like we got in belgium :p its hilarious xP or how ever you spell it ;P its just fucking great!

  • Good stuff.

Wasn't this briefly on Comedy Central?

  • the brazilian prank shows are the best lmao

  • they say KILL KILL KILL

  • I have to admit, British humor is funnier in my opinion, even though I'm American.

  • I completely agree with ya. US humour is simple joke/punchline or slapstick. British humour is a witty and abstract art.

  • its humour...

  • LOL at 4:16

  • 4:16 - Damn furries!

  • the only part that was really funny to me was the two bunnies at the theater XD

  • lmao!!!!

  • "no stopping zone" !!

  • the rat probleme, the dead dog, the hich hiker-killer , beans with dead animals EXTRA.

  • Thank you for this very nice selection of "Trigger Happy TV"

  • We have a wide and varied sense of humour in our little island. Check fonejacker-He's pretty good at the moment!!

  • Loin d'être le meilleur de l'humour anglais....

  • moais mais j'ai quand même 114 000 views :D

  • je comprend pô les paroles mé c marrant les images!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHA dome shot!!!

    "shi shi shi sha no"

trigger happy tv picks the best music to go wit the vids

  • ROFL, bannaa head shot

  • In France, a man has the same sense of humour, his name is Rémi Gaillard

  • yep Remi is the man

  • Well that bunny ain duacell thats for sure haha

  • can i get a playlist plz

  • 6:15 That happens in Japan for real. Woe to you if you have dark skin and ran across a neighbourhood copper.

  • Omg, I used to watch this show on Comedy Central I think they used to run old reruns of it. This stuff is freaking hilarious.

  • lol, the rat blinks.

  • hahahaahah

    hilarious!

  • hey guys, why this show gets 4.5 stars, but Balls of Steel gets 5 at youtube, when DomJoly is much funnier

  • Hi, what is the music at 3:46? (at leatherface-scene..?.)

  • I like British humor along the lines of Bennie Hill and Monty Python...I got a chuckle out of the hitch-hiking chain-saw murder and a few others here, but some just fell kind-of flat for me. I'm not saying it to be rude or to bash the Brits...(I think that the Brits have some of the best rock music ever!)

  • is this really classified as a "British sense of Humor"?

im not british but this is all the stuff i find funny, its like this show was made for my personal entertainment because it feels like everything they do is what i find funny

thats the best way i can explain it

    anyway this is great

the funniest thing from America that i find funny is South Park, its kickass

  • see remi gaillard guy it's great

  • whats the song at 1:41

  • Monaco - 'What do you want from me?' [:

  • the rat is hilarous. i laughed so hard

  • this is just like Jackass here in America

its great and is just not British humor

  • that was nothing like jackass. this was actually humour, jackass is just a big load of jackasses doing jackassities....if thats a word...

  • I agree completely.. Jackass isn't a prank show in any way shape or form.. it's just rampant idiocy of masochistic people. Trigger Happy TV is just brilliant.. The americanized version wasn't as good. I didn't like the American actors very much.. I found them just annoying. Dom Jolly is one of a kind.

  • Whats the first song? it sounds like an indian or something.

  • I think it's James. I know I have it on cassette somewhere. Great song.

  • Yea thanks man. I just found it Its born of Frustration. :)

  • wat song at 3:35

  • Beat of the Night by the Boomtown Rats

  • loool, the big ass cellphone one was hilarious, this was some funny stuff

  • hahaha LOVED IT.i am a Filipino living in America who has a British sense of humor. seriously when i am over at some of my friends parties, and someone happens to tell a joke, it doesn't seem quite funny, but when something so random and spontaneous happens, i end up laughing where people actually think I'm crying because i am laughing so hard.

i laugh at the most bizarre things and only a few close friends share my sense of humor. especially when it comes to watching others react to something.

  • you're an idiot.

  • oh wow sorry about this.

this is my sisters comment and she forgot to log me out while making me look seem like a complete fool on youtube. i must thank her later............................... I honestly don't sound this unintelligent.

  • Lmao 3:03

  • the it crowd is funny so is spaced,. and smack the pony

  • Love the rat skit :P

  • I'm British and I think British humour is the best in the world, we don't take offence like the rest of the world. Dom Jolly is a genius! Some American comedy is good, friends, American dad and family guy are my favourites, but American prank shows like punk'd are shite, they either take it too far or are simply not funny! We also have comedy quiz shows, Q.I, mock the week, never mind the buzzcocks, Sunday night project and so on, we are comedy masters!

  • well in America prank shows just lack that sort of creativity and cleverness that you see here

  • Very true, but to be fair to Americans, they think the same thing about our comedies, their sense of humour is different and it's the way people are raised! Ours is better though and a lot of Americans agree!

  • you can't really narrow down American humor/humour the way you can with British humor because the U.S.A is an amalgmation of many different people with different backgrounds. There is no universal standards in the USA. For example there is the "blue collar" comedy which resonates more with the south and the working class.Black comedians in general tend to say a lot about race/social status. Then there is the concept of vulgar comedy vs clean "family comedy." Not all U.S. comedy is physical comedy.

  • And as for punk'd..that comedy is directed at a niche market. Young MTV generation kids from 13-24. It hardly counts as a comedy that represents American humor.

  • this is why we as a british should stick to humour. and not drama's.

  • never say our humour sucks

cus australia, new zealand, south africa, ireland, even canada can all understand it

  • Why do you say "even" Canada? You know that american comedy is 50% jew and 50% canadian. English humour still is the best.

  • also, poor Jack the Ripper :(

  • Im "British" and I find this funny. EVERYONE in every country is gonna have a different sense of humour. Some people will piss themselves laughing and some people won't even smile. Personally, my sense of humour revolves around random things, like the elevator doors opening and theres a guy on the toilet for NO REASON WTF?

  • im also british, and i agree with you. the americans just think that we are boring and we are posh and ugly, its a load of bullshit
